Just saw this today. Guy driving a Qualis at 30 km/h, arm stuck out the widow holding a 1-litre bottle, splashing water on the windscreen while running the wipers. Who needs windshield washer bottles?

One more thing not to do while driving...

- do not use our pathetic, dense city roads for race tracks
- do not overtake from the left and then swerve to the middle to overtake another from the right, especially when you know your going to be stopped by red light just 50 metres ahead
- do not get stuck between 2 call center sumos in Bangalore especially when they are close to their destination
- do not be selfish and create a 3rd lane when two lanes are all that the road can handle
- do not stop right in the middle of a bridge just because you saw a crowd that's gathered and looking down at the tracks below
- do understand that driving on the highway and in city are completely different

Re: Essential Guide: Stuff not to do while Driving

Do not blindly trust signals given by driver / rider moving ahead of you
Do not get distracted by any in-car activity by passengers
Do watch where your vehicle is going instead of getting fixated on where you want it to go
Do watch out for any vehicle taking a U-turn (however small the vehicle may be) for it will in all probability move to the left first and then take the turn.
On signals, keep a lookout for late crossers (pedestrians) and signal jumpers (vehicles)
Do give space to people in a hurry / vehicles going faster as soon as possible.
Last but not the least, keep a very cool head. That is what will help you the most in all kinds of situations.
