How long do you keep your car?

Hey guys,
was wondering how long you guys kept your cars for before selling them off.
We generally keep the cars for 5 years but D segment cars for longer.
But since most of our cars have bad resale value, i am trying to keep them for longer.
Also how much have you guys spent on your cars so far before selling.
