Very nice collection. Did you get the Tom Ford in India itself? If you like vetiver, Adolfo Dominguez is a very VFM vetiver

Thank you. I got the Tom Ford at Sephora in Paris. There is a Tom Ford Store in Delhi, though I'm not sure if they have it or the cost. But I just love it!

Interestingly, I did buy AD Vetiver from an Indian shopping site for very cheap. Though I didn't hate it, I didn't find it very enticing either. It could be because of the high benchmark the Tom Ford has set. I ended up giving it off to my dad. I would probably try the Guerlain Vetiver this time, have heard a lot of positive things about it.

Sephora in Delhi has a couple of Tom Ford's - they have Extreme and Black Orchid and a couple of others I can't recall. Price was around 10K for a large bottle which is pretty close to international prices too. Guerlain has launched Vetiver in India too, its on my buy list (after I get Antaeus first)

Wow! 10K is insanely expensive. I paid 100 Euros for 125ml of TF Vetiver. This was when the Euro was below Rs. 70. I think it should be cheaper online, if available.

Re: Which Perfume/Cologne/Deodorant do you use?

I have a vast collection of perfumes, collected over a couple of years from the standard duty-free shopping when travelling abroad. Its also the most common gift received by a man on any occasion (although being a doctor i get a lot of pens as well)
My cabinet has these:

Christian Dior- Fahrenheit
Hugo Boss- XY
Benetton sport
Versace gold
Jasper Conran
Cool water
Aramis
Lacoste (don't remember the type)
Diesel (white bottles..forgotten name again)
LASTLY and my honest favourite is the manly OLD SPICE MUSK! Simply love it, and its the most afforadble!

on a different note, the deodorant FOGG which is advertised to have 800 sprays...well i give you my word. have been a using a single canister for 18 months an its still has NOT emptied! what an invention!

Would love if anyone could confirm that with their own experience
Alfa is very expensive these days. I was told 6100 for Allure sport few weeks back. Few years ago I used to buy a lot of perfumes from there but now not worth it.

I've got another source now and I ended up getting the same one for 2500 .

Re: Which Perfume/Cologne/Deodorant do you use?

Huge Bulgari fan! :P Do appreciate a few others though:
Bulgari Black
Bulgari pour Homme Soir
Bulgari Eau Parfumée au Thé Rouge
Frederic Malle Musc Ravageur
Guerlain Vetiver
Creed Silver Mountain Water

Not a huge fan of most Deodorants so I use either Oldspice Hawkridge or anything odorless

Re: Which Perfume/Cologne/Deodorant do you use?

Picked up a Cool Water from the lifestyle outlet last weekend.

It was a bit expensive at Rs. 4550 compared to the duty-free stores' pricing, but I am glad I got an authentic one. There are plenty of cheap fakes floating around especially in Flipkart, Snapdeal, eBay and other online retailers. These are supposedly re-bottled and the original packaging is missing. The vendors conveniently sell it as authentic testers so beware!

I haven’t used the original Cool Water till date so this was on the radar for a long time. I have however owned the limited edition Freeze Me variant of the Cool Water which I had picked up from the HKIA duty free during our 2008 visit. I see that both the notes aren’t vastly different but the original CW lasts longer.

Fragrances in the bathroom cabinet currently:

Which Perfume/Cologne/Deodorant do you use?-wp_20140102_19_46_08_pro.jpg

L to R: Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey, Cool Water, Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio, Mont Blanc Starwalker and Kenneth Cole Reaction. The cap of a Premium EDC can be seen from the lower left cabinet of the shelf.

Fragrances exhausted: Azzaro Visit, Paco Rabanne XS, Davidoff Cool Water Freeze Me, Dunhill Desire Blue, Ferrari Red, Ferrari Black, Jovan White Musk.

Next on the list: Christian Dior Fahrenheit, Carolina Herrera 212 men, YSL Kouros.

@volkman10: Looks like you are quite the fragrance connoisseur! Browsing through the pages of the thread, you have amassed quite a collection. Good stuff!
