Appears to be lasting better than Davidoff Horizon and on par with Lacoste red. I am happy, will buy it again.

Re: Which Perfume/Cologne/Deodorant do you use?

I recently bought Ferrari Red for around 3k but the damn EDT just wouldn't stay for more than 30 mins. Its too mild for my taste, even for everyday wear.

Any recommendations for a long lasting fragrance (EDP preferrably) which doesn't cost a bomb?

Re: Which Perfume/Cologne/Deodorant do you use?

Currently using Jaguar black. It is quite good for an everyday use, and lasts long enough to see through the day. I would rate it as very good especially for the price that you can get it for.
I do not apply on skin since my skin is quite allergic to the chemicals. But in few occasions that I did apply on the skin, I could smell it even the next day.

My all time favorite has been 1881 by Cerruti, even though I find it slightly on the expensive side.

Re: Which Perfume/Cologne/Deodorant do you use?

So I had returned to Ferrari Red perfume that I bought because it was too mild. The guys at the shop were kind enough to take the perfume back but insisted that I buy an alternate from the Ferrari line-up only.

Which according to you guy is the most long lasting Ferrari perfume?

Re: Parfum vs Toilette?

What is this difference between 'Eau De Parfum' and 'Eau De Toilette' for men?

What should one go for? Is it applied based on occasion/event?

Please advise.

I think most of the Ferrari ones are mild. I have used Ferrari Black and Black shine. Black Shine I found to be better than than Black, although both of them settle very close to the skin. But their fragrance is still intoxicating!
Black Shine also lasts a good 4-5 hours on me, but then every perfume reacts differently on different people.

I would suggest you go to the store, try the 2 or 3 which you like best from their range, each at a different place on your arms and walk out. Observe the fragrance after 2 hours and then make a decision, because the middle and bottom notes are the most important.

Please advise.

The difference is mainly in concentration of perfume. EDP has higher concentration of the perfume, costs more and lasts longer.

If you are talking about application of EDP vs EDT based on occasion, that does not matter.

But yes what perfume you wear depends a lot on the weather, season, time of day, occasion.

Ideally one should have a perfume each for summer, winter both day and night fragrances.

Which Perfume/Cologne/Deodorant do you use?

Personal favourites

Jovan Musk - All time favourite everyday anywhere anytime use
Davidoff Coolwaters - Work perfume
Paco Rabanne Invictus - When you need that awesome fragrance around you for the longest day ever!
Hugo Boss Orange - To the formal events when your perfume and suit need to do the talking
Azzaro Chrome - Party wear
Davidoff Hotwaters - When you're bored of Coolwaters
Danhill Desire Blue - Another great everyday perfume
Kenneth Cole Black - Great perfume, ladies love this too

Perfume I'm still dying for?
Chanel Bleu De Chanel. As told by many, this will keep the ladies way too happy.

Yes this is EDP, but this is a relatively new fragrance and is more woody in nature, which is different from the original Acqua di Gio.
If you want and EDP version of the original one, it is called Acqua di Gio Essenza.
Have not tried this new one that extensively so cannot comment.
But yes the original one is quite famous and very common too, don't know how much here in India, but otherwise it is a very common summer fragrance for people.

Personally I have the EDT version and I love it and it suffices for my use as well. Lasts long enough for the occasions that I wear it for.

Could you please suggest some good EDP which I can buy off from Amazon US.

I would like to go for something which sticks with me for a day, in humid conditions of west coast in India.

I would second Akhil on Aqua Di Gio essenza. I use the EDP version and it is very refreshing and lasts me for a day. In fact. If I wear it indoors, I can still feel it on nose post 10-11 hours of application.

Another one of my all time favorite's is Creed Aventus, but due to its price, I generally prefer picking it up from Duty free, rather than paying full retail.

Well, it is quite expensive. I was looking for EDP around $50 - $100 range.

Any other, decent alternatives?

In that range, my preferred ones are F by Salvatore Ferragamo, Boss Elements , Hugo Elements, Aqua di Gio, Versace pour homme.

All of them are EDT(Toilette Spray).

Could you suggest some in EDP(Parfum), please?
