The opening of 1 Million is definitely sweet and slightly harsh. It smells blood orange! and it lingers throughout the life of the fragrance. The smell of 1 million is definitely sweet but its not sickly sensitive. It has spices in the background to keep the scent balanced. In the drydown it settles into a woody note with a hint of vanilla and the blood orange top note. The key is to go easy on the sprayer and do not exceed more then 4 sprays.

Based on your preference i would rather suggest aqua based perfumes, citrus based and green herbal fougeres. Well when i think of such classifications i think of Hugo boss series, Bvlgari Aqva series, Burberry Weekend, Burberry Summer, PR Pour Homme, CK Escape, cool water, RL Polo Sport, YSL Rive Gauche, CK One Summer, Carolina Herrera 212 Men Pop!, Nautica series, Armani Acqua Di Gio, Armani Attitude etc.

After trying some of the marquee brands, ordered a Perry Ellis cologne... waiting for it to be delivered. Currently using Nautica which isnt that great and doesnt stay long especially with the current temperatures of Phoenix ( 40-42 Deg C)

re: Which Perfume/Cologne/Deodorant do you use?

Has anyone bought perfumes from snapdeal.com ? I find their prices are low compared to flipkart and others.

Are they genuine ?

Your choice of deos / deodorant sprays

Let us know your choice of deos that you and your better half use regularly.

Had seen a thread on perfumes / cologne but many of us use deos on a daily basis and personally have been in a big dilemma to change the brand to another wondering how good it may be.

Have always gone by suggestions of friends and relatives and bought from their experience.

My regular current choice is Set Wet Macho - since this is same as the original Set Wet Zatak.

My wifi uses Cuticurra.

More suggestion of your personal favourites are welcome!

Re: Which Perfume/Cologne/Deodorant do you use?

Few months before I have bought Azzaro chrome from Health and glow in EA mall chennai. Earlier it used to smell for whole day but just quarter bottle consumed it smell not great and many notes are missing. I do have a sample for chrome and its quite different from what I am using. .

Vijay

Re: Which Perfume/Cologne/Deodorant do you use?

Its quite simple a choice for me and I believe that once we find a perfume - deodorant to suiting our likes we shouldn't change it, cause eventually it defines us.

perfume : Christian Dior - Farenheit
deodorant : Jovan Musk - any variant

Re: Which Perfume/Cologne/Deodorant do you use?

Well thats right. There are basically four kinds of variants based on the concentration of the perfume oils used in the alcohol:

1. EDC: Eau De Cologne: Usually has a concentration of 5-10% of perfume oil
2. EDT: Eau De Toilette: Usually has a concentration of 10-25% of perfume oil. This is the most generic fragrance variant and the most available option for Men.
3. EDP: Eau De Parfum: Usually has a concentration of 25-40% of perfume oil. Some even go to 50-60%. Mostly used for the female perfumes. There are few EDP concentrations for Men as well.
4. Parfum Oil: As the name suggest its the 100% concentration of the oils used to make the perfume. Usually does not come in the sprayer form.

New Additions to my Wardrobe:
1. Zino by Zino Davidoff 100ml EDT bottle (Rare to find). It is or rather used to be Johnny Depp's Signature scent
2. Diesel Fuel for Life 75ml EDT bottle
3. Jacques Bogart Pour Homme 100ml EDT bottle
4. Dsqaured2 He Wood Rocky Mountain Wood 100ml EDT bottle

Re: Which Perfume/Cologne/Deodorant do you use?

Not sure how many of you have used it before but my liking is always the original "javadhu" from Tamilnadu that is widely available in Kadhi Gramodyok Bhavan across the state.

it is a strong natural scent and works wonderfully well against body odor through out the day. Till today I couldn't replace with anything else.

this is available in small bottles, may be 5gm but last for 6month daily use. application is simple just apple a tiny little amount in your body immd. After bath with little wet that's it you would feel the aroma till next morning bath.

Interestingly Javadhu is a natural resin from a tree like Sandal, the javadhu hills got the name because of this plants in the ancient days.

even at my current location I only use Javadhu and carried couple of bottles but never got a chance to open the 2nd bottle, as you really need tiny little amount a day.

I will post the pictures of the bottle and powder(essentially needs to be applied to semi wet body or apply with a mix of water) today day time here.

There you go 100% natural and best fight against body odor and no side effect product from Tamilnadu - Javadhu Powder

As you could see the power spread on the American quarter, that is the quantity required to spread the fragrance for 24 hours.

(Warning: Use with caution, little overdose may turn lots of unwanted relations )
