WoW, even I felt the same.
It really lasts long and I must add that its better than roll-on as roll-on deo sticks liquid get polluted over time due to the dry sweat collected while rubbing. This seems to be perfect solution.

The fragrance is nice and it lasts a couple of hours.

Agreed, the BLUE is quite strong, and me too use it only once in a while. My friends and colleagues like it quite a bit. That's why I recommended it.

For mild but lasting fragrance which isn't disturbing but pleasant, try Remy Marquise. I personally use it and find it just perfect. It should cost somewhere around Rs. 1200 at Malls.

Most long lasting ones are spicy/woody/leathery kinds, and I consider them for winter/cool climates and not summers. But if you are willing to overlook that :

Burberry (classic or red)
Yves St Laurent Nuit d'le homme
L'Instant de Guerlain pour Homme
Ralph Lauren Polo Black & Double Black
Mont Blanc Individuel
Gucci by Gucci
Hugo Boss Soul
Armani Code
Azzaro Elixir

Seems you want aquatic kind of scent?
Try :
Davidoff Coolwater or its flanking range (such as Coolwater Nightdive)
Bulgari Blu (written as Bvlgari Blv)
Drakkar Noir (not aquatic, but suits our hot weather)
Dunhill London (sort of floral metallic)
Titan Steel
Ralph Lauren Big Pony (kind of grassy)

I prefer perfumes which suit our humid environment. I don't know if the ones I have do so, but still.
Ya, have the Davidoff Horizon, Lacoste red & Titan skinn [very nice perfume & does last]. Would swear by rasasi deos as well.

I prefer to buy perfumes from Shoppers Stop as at my small place, this is the only trusted place I can get genuine & good stuff.

Re: Which Perfume/Cologne/Deodorant do you use?

Just stumbled across this thread and I'm like ! Never thought we would have Bhpians who are perfume/cologne/deo experts!!! And I'll tell you why - I just do not understand perfumes/colognes.

I've been wearing deodorants from high school if I can remember correctly. For a number of years, it used to be the 'fake' Brut and I was quite satisfied with it. Occasionally I used to wear something called 'Cigar' and yes, I actually smelt like a Cigar! Please don't ask me why!
I then stumbled upon Nike Casual (green can) and was completely satisfied with the quality and the smell until some years back when I realized that it was either not available easily and if it was available, it smelt really bad. In between I've tried deos from Park Avenue, Old Spice and the lot but wasn't impressed with any. Recently, I came across Nivea Fresh Ocean and have been satisfied since.

As you can notice from my story, I'm a deodorant guy and hardly use perfumes at all. My then girlfriend and now wife gifted me a bottle of Chanel something on my birthday in 2015 and have hardly used it. Don't get me wrong, I take extreme care of my personal hygiene and can never step out without my deo on the body and a splash of Old Spice on the face.

As a noob in this area, what I seek from you all is advice on -

- which deodorant would you recommend? I prefer mild ones that are long lasting (8-10 hrs if not more) and aren't Musk.

- how does one wear a perfume? As far as I know, perfume is supposed to be worn on the wrists and the neck. What about other parts of the body, arm pits in general? Does it mean that a perfume has to be teamed up with a deo stick or a deo itself?

Nivea Fresh Active (Fresh Active in blue lettering) is mild but effective. Been using it a decade+, I sweat quite a bit and this one passes the armpit test 12 hours after application. I have sensitive skin and it's never posed any issues with prolonged usage. Careful while selecting though, Nivea now has a range of Fresh Active deos with different names, and some are really strong fragrances.

Gillette Cool Wave was my favourite until supply sort of went non-existent, I still use the aftershave.

No idea of perfumes, never used one.

Any suggestions on an EDP(Eau De Parfum) for a female friend in India?

Re: Which Perfume/Cologne/Deodorant do you use?

Currently Axe Signature Collection (Maverick). Only one that smelled a bit appealing to me but still not what I would have wanted. It is the only deo which my armpit doesn't get really irritated from so in that regard it has been good.

Any better suggestions? Would really appreciate it.

Versace Bright Crystal or Burberry's London for Women.

Bright Crystal is something that tops the list for both me and my wife when it comes to women's perfume.

Bright Crystal is EDT.

Are there any EDP for women around that range, please?

Unless your female friend is very fussy about the EDP part I'd suggest get it eyes closed. It lasts longer than most EDPs. I smell it on my wife's clothes even after they undergo one wash cycle and that's saying something.

EDP is supposed to be longer lasting given the higher concentration but in reality that is not the case always. Burberry London being an EDP doesn't last as long as Bright Crystal.

Re: Which Perfume/Cologne/Deodorant do you use?

Not a very "perfumey" guy myself, but some of the ones I use are

White Musk by BodyShop: Strong if used too much, but stays around
Azzuro Chrome or Silver black: musky and citrus notes
Brut Oceans : Mild, fresh
Some ZARA perfumes are great too...!
Cilinique Happy for men: Citrus/ slightly musky

Looks like there are quite a few brands/variants of the Javadhu powder. Am on my second set now & the fragrance is widely different from the first one I used. Of course, it's from a different brand called 'Amman' while the first one was 'SSP special' or something. In fact, I didn't even like the second one when I used for the first time, but it's growing on me. The first one had a 'loud' fragrance & second one is more mellowed.

Also this (Javadhu) tends to last longer for me and am gonna take a short break from the deodorants.

That's a Reynolds pen @ the back for size reference.
