All brickbats aside, the kid managed to get within half of mile from the school; almost driving 9 1/2 on freeways without bruising/brushing anyone.

This is what he managed

Not sure with his height he could have even seen the on-coming traffic

May be he just looked at the lane markings from the window and drove.

God bless him... he has some skills cheers:

Whateva said and done, the kid has to be appreciated! He did a swell job in not getting in to any kind of a fatal accident and whateva the reason for the determination for him to get to school!

The kid was wrong, but his driving skills are worth an appreciation but for the part where he banged the car. I am sure adults may have done a bad job in suich situations!

was the car with an auto transmission ? how did the kid operate the clutch brakes and steering all in ONE shot ? wow ! that kid does have skills.

Total callousness by parents , they couldn't even hear the kid starting up the car (must be drunken asleep). Good thing the incident turned out to be the "best case scenario" and the kids are now in protective custody.

although we have a 2 wheeled version at large in our own country..

let's not overlook at our desi malpractices of underage kids riding activa's and even bikes nowadays and mostly without a helmet. even this is a shame on parents who allow their kids to ride vehicles not permitted. Most go zooom and would bump themselves off this planet at the first surprise the road throw at them (cow, people, vehicles, obstacles, debries etc)

I wasnt allowed to touch the kinetic at home before I was 17, could apply for a gearless license and was skilled enough to ride in city roads with a helmet.
