It's just a personalized number plate. What does it have to do with caste? Lot of people, Indians included, have them.

Parochialism is rife everywhere it seems! This excessive focus on community and caste is the ruin of our society. We just seem unable to think of ourselves as Indians first.

Yes, it is a personalized number plate. But why it has to be the name of the caste, which dismisses the point of coming to US, in the first place.
If one is so self-centric and self-praising about his caste, then there is no point in living in a broad-minded nation like US.Period.
I hate when people of one state or a caste form groups in a social get-together here and become so self-centric leaving aside people from other states and also the Americans.
This makes them develop anger towards Indians, as we tend to form closed groups within ourselves.

Sorry to interrupt, but it was not a last name. People from states other than AP, commonly mistake that it was a last name though
