A Good place to stay in Thrissur

Friends,

I tried to search here but couldn't get a relevant info. Please suggest me a good place (hotel) to stay at Thrissur, I am planning for short trip to Thrissur with family and a small kid. I don't have any clue on good hotels in Thrissur. Thanks a lot..

You could try any of the below 4 depending on your budget

(1) Trichur towers
(2) Das Continental
(3) Siddhartha Regency
(4) Luciya Palace

The first 3 are in the same area, near the Bus stand. Luciya palace is bang in the center of the town.

Hi,

From the online Kerala phone directory:

(1) Trichur towers - (0487) 2446320/3
(2) Siddhartha Regency - (0487) 2424773/5
(3) Luciya Palace - (0487) 2424367
(4) Casino Hotels - (0487) 2442037 / 2424677
(5) Das Continental - No entries that I could trace.

No idea bout any of these hotels personally!

Hope this helps!

[quote=trrk;1159682]Hi,

(2) Siddhartha Regency - (0487) 2424773/5

Sidhartha Regency has a very good ( and economical ) lunch buffet. The breakfast is on the house and good too.

I have stayed in Luciya a couple of years ago - and it seemed quite a decent place.

Very close to the Railway station and bus stand, shopping is close, and more than anything, just a stone's throw away from the Thrissur round.
