Great... who ever went and enjoyed i envy you guys:( missed this year...

Traffic was pathetic in 2001(not sure about the year) show, it was 2lane then.

Hey sj_koova, that is a Boeing C17 Globemaster The Hercules C130 has naked propellers while this one doesnt

Visited on Sunday; could only make it in the afternoon. The Hercules's manouveribility is awesome for such a huge aircraft. Enjoyed Tejas and Sukhoi; and the Surya Kirans. Sukhoi can really shake the buildings, lot of boom! awesome power from those turbines!

Went there on Sunday. The show was pretty decent. The Israeli and Russian stalls were good. Here are a few pictures I clicked.

I went there on Sunday. Could shoot a video of this monster taking a U turn before take-off.

Must say the suryakiran's stole the show. They were just Awesome

Suryakirans were a true paisa vasool. What co-ordination and wonderful formations.

Actually this time the SuryaKiran's performance was lacklustre. They are usually 9 planes. This time only 6. This was because one of the pilots died in a plane crash last month. They can't have 8 only groups of 3 so they had to drop 2 more to make it 6.

Secondly they did not make the heart formation they do everytime. The Pilot who passed away was always the one who completed the heart formation by drawing the arrow through the heart.

Awesome is the word ....

It must have been a great view to watch all the machinery from across the world displaying their might.

I heard that a tyre of an F16 bursted on landing and Lockheed Martin did not take more than half an hour to change the tyre. Our Indian Air Force chaps were pretty impressed with this.

No time to type in my experience at the Aero Show, I had a ball and heck the sound of the free revving engines was merzmerizing.

Like they say " Pictures speak a thousand words" and my banter doesn't matter. Here you go
