"0000" Registration possible ???

Hi guys saw this last sunday on the mumbai-pune expressway, the car had the same number on the front number plate also (so it cant be an error).

Is it possible to get this sort of a number??

As far as i know, it isnt allowed to use the number.
Maybe he's using it illegally.

must be 8888 or 0080 written like that.

if its 0000, then it proves common sense is not so common after all!!

I saw 3 pics and in all they show 0000
ITs 0000 and the best part is 0000 is on both sides. Front and Back.

I too Zoomed it. Looks like 0080 with small . between the central line so it looks like 0000

The number is 0080. If you look hard enough you can see a small dot in the centre of the third 0, making it an 8. So the number reads 0080.

Guys thats some error due to downsizing the image...i have the original and third one is a perfect "0" with no dot there.

0000 is not a valid registration number. Even if the number is 0080, he is clearly flouting the RTO rules, which specify that the number should be clearly visible and legible. If it is indeed 0080, then it is simply not legible as 0080.

I wish the RTO would crack down hard on these illegal number plates and would also crack down on number plates written in scripts apart from English.

Can you imagine the confusion if everyone were to write the number plates in their native script? We'd never manage to catch any offender then.
