How did I miss this thread

One of my hobbies is to collect key chains, and I have a whole boxful of them. Relieved to note that so many others have the same tastes when it comes to collecting things! (There goes my Sunday - I plan to snap all the unique ones for you guys to drool on!!)

Speed0mania - just wait for a couple of days, to see a sparkplug keychain - an original BOSCH mini plug which actually works!

Here goes ....

Let me go at first..

Summer is yet to start but the mercury is climbing already to the 40s, here in Pune!! I have a flat on the top (6th Floor). No AC / Room Cooler (have not forgotten the first 20 formative years of my childhood in Madras - where the season is like this : hot, hotTER, HOTTEST..!). So looking at these following pictures, won't blame if you think the weather got to me... (wife and daughter definitely concluded that with age, I am getting worse - spending a whole afternoon and evening and night of a nice holiday in the middle of the week, arranging these key chains and photographing them and then trying to upload it on some "god knows what is so special about this site")

And forgive me, guys, have not yet learnt on how to write and then upload the pictures one by one - you have to scroll down quite a bit after reading this!

1. Snapshot of my collection (no space on the bed to arrange all of them in neat rows!)

2. These are the special ones!

3. A couple from car manufacturers - can't tell you how depressed I was when the 'blue oval' was missing after service - pure vandalism or jealously from someone!

4. Some exotic ones ( the one of the left is from Sri Lanka, the one in the middle is from Japan (which is the smallest key chain in the collection) and right is from Russia (it is the button of a military coat))

5. A real "key chain"..

6. This one is glass cuboid with a flower etched inside!

7. A couple of two in ones - the second is a "jig"

(PS - Never knew you could upload only 10 pictures in go! Check out the various types of the rings where the keys have to be snagged - there are other special types as well - no time to click all of them)

Here goes .... Part II!

8. A "Bosch" spark plug key chain - it works! (Speed0mania - comments, please!)

9. Daily use (the last one is DIY!)

My Fiat Linea got a keyring with FIAT logo, bought from UK, through ebay.co.uk. The cost of this item was GBP 6.99 + shipping GBP 1.25, the total amount paid being GBP 8.24 [Rs 579.35] in June 2010.

Re: The Keychain thread

Hello..

I hope this would be perfect for this thread.

Got a long time in the making as a search in the market yielded no results and had to make those from the market.

Thanks.
