Major error in Autocar March issue & Overdrive April issue as well

In the roadtest article of BMW X3 diesel, they have wrongly printed i20 image for the specification drawing. Worst thing is, it is not just a case of someone picking a wrong image and inserting in the page, but the artist has spent good amount of time for putting X3 dimensions on the i20 drawing!

Also the contents shows BMW 750Li test drive on Page 94 but the photo shows a 3 series.

That could be grounds sufficient for getting sued by BMW! Well may not be, as there will be 'regret' message in the next issue

I just read through the 7 series article and I don't see a 3 series pic there. Guess you're confused or you got a copy which had a 3 series pic.

I stand corrected.I've never bothered to see the contents.Just read the magazine front to back. OD is more famous for typo/grammar errors.

ACI have pointed all the errata in the april issue. Quite a few in march issue it seems.

Also a new one has popped up in the Overdrive magazine. Overdrive's April issue is hilarious. They have printed that the Superb has a 1.8TSI engine which is supercharged and turbocharged. The supercharged is the 1.4TSI and not the 1.8TSI which has only a turbo. I can't believe they made such a blunder. They even have a technical box separately explaining how the belt driven supercharger in the Superb operates in low rpm's and the turbo kicks in after that removing the turbo lag.

Some blunders in the March Overdrive issue!
1) Page 12 shows the Beat stopped on the wrong side, during the comparo drive.
- Shows the kind of people employed and their mentality.
2) First page showing DZire DDIS for K-Series advertisement.

I had been reading Overdrive a lot until Team-BHP happened and just a few weeks back I saw their videos on youtube. Gaurav Gill was track testing Ford Fiesta 1.6S and the Honda City. In the Fiesta 1.6S the VBOX goes Kaput within the first few seconds and keeps behaving like that throughout. I asked them as to how did they print the figures for timing, body roll, top speed etc. in the issue, and they did not reply at all. Something fishy I think!

Here's the video-

Not really, once the timed lap starts there is no glitch in the telemetry, not even when the camera comes loose.

Errors Auto Magazines make

In the May issue of Autocar India in Page 140 under Ritz 18400 km review a sub caption reads "The 1997cc K-12 engine readily welcomes rev-happy drivers".

Since when did maruti started fitting such powerful engines?
