Yes this is the decent thing to do - just consider how you would feel if you were served your meals and water from dirty plates and glasses.
the people (attendants) at home should always be taught this - and periodic checks are necessary - I do this all the time because typically the feeling is that after all he/ she is a dog, they wont mind the unwashed plate - thats why I constantly check or my wife checks or my mum and dad check on this aspect. Most important.

Since the pets feeding dishes are mostly placed on the ground its gets
dirty very easily.

Make it a point to clean the vessel and the water each time the pet has had a drink from it.

Hey Vinay, Sorry to hear about your friend.

I lost my golden retriever in decemeber and I know exactly how you would feel. Just be brave & think about the good times you spent together.

I am sure they are all playing up in doggy land up there !!

The only consoling thing I find is when a dog peacefully passes away.I have seen some pets struggling and battling it out for weeks. Its a nightmare for the animals. The best thing to hapen to any pet if he/she dies is that they should go away peacefully without any pain.

RIP !!
