Place to stay in Yeshwanthpur, Bangalore

Hey guys,
A friend and I are coming to Bangalore this weekend, from Trivandrum. We are arriving at Yeshwanthpur station and I was wondering if you knew any lodges where we can stay, in that area. Looking for bachelor accommodation for a couple of days.

Thanks,
Srijit

Train from Trivandrum ends up there and the connecting train from the same station is only the next day. My friend and I are not really that interested in shopping or wandering around, so thought of getting lodging close by
But apart from that, nothing special

I would assume that it should have dormitory available in the station. Since you have departing train ticket from the same station, this would be easy to get.

I can suggest staying at Hotel Parijatha, almost walking distance from the station. Check out the details in this url

Ah the good ol' days...

There is this Veekay lodge bang opposite the station, but usually they offer rooms on monthly basis. You can try them to see if they offer rooms on daily basis as well. I have also stayed in another hotel bang in the middle of Yeswanthpur market, forget the name(more than 10 years back)...These are el cheapo options, mind you.

There is a hotel close by to the Shell petrol pump near Iskon temple. Not sure what it is called. You might want to try that place.

Re: Place to stay in Yeshwanthpur, Bangalore

Guys, kick-starting this thread after a very very long time as I don't want to create a new one here.

Me with my family are coming to B'lore this Thursday morning - just a one day trip - and want to stay in some budget place near C.V.Raman Nagar. Its NOT going to be an overnight stay as we will catch a train/bus back to Chennai on Thursday night itself.

Please suggest some good budget hotels in and around C.V.Raman Nagar/Indira Nagar area.

Secondly, we would also like to get a cab for the whole of Thursday. Suggest some reliable cab companies and also do let me know the ongoing charges. If some BHPian is willing to lend his car for a day, I would be really delighted.

Thanks!
