In NCR region hardly any Hollywood flicks come. So I cannot see watchmen/International etc.,
But I am told there is some hindi movie industry strike going to happen soon. So does it mean that over the next few weeks English movies will come to NCR region?

Hey, for Jerry Maguir, I would go with Hydra.

I love the movie and have watched it multiple times and will do again if possible.

Still recollect few of the dialogues:

Best one - "SHOW ME THE MONEY!"

And the other one is "You complete me".

Absolutely. Whats gotten into Bennyboy ratings. Fixed, I guess.

Has anyone here seen Leonardo Di Caprio in 'Catch me If you can' ?

About a son whose parents separate and he takes off with his life, learning to live by fraudulent means. In his time, he becomes a Pilot, Doctor, Lawyer. I would give it a 4/5.

And, who can forget that song " Free Falling" by Tom Petty which Tom Cruise sings in the car showing his superb white dentures

Haha! With all the public support which has been coming in for JM, i have reviewed the rating to give it a 3.5 .After all, Bennyboy Rating is 'for' the people. Frankly, although the movie was good, i felt it was too predictable, which explains why i didnt think too highly of it.

Ong Bak 2 (1/5)

I had high hopes for this movie as it stars Tony Jaa. A couple of his previous movies 'Ong Bak' and 'Tom Yum Goong' were brilliant because of their fight scenes. One of those movies also had a continous fight sequence shot (approx 4 mins) which was done by Tony himself. In fact in both these movies, Tony performed all the stunts himself and only Tom Yum Goong had a few CGI shots (just a few).

Watch the other two movies if you are a fan of martial arts movies. Top class fight sequence in both of them will keep you engrossed for sure.

Excellent stuff. Leonardo has come off age since Titanic. Few os his performances are just brilliant.
If i rem correctly it was Tom hanks along him who plays the detective who catches and converts him for govt duty right?

And why you felt so. I watch most movies in Noida and they are mostly hollywood flicks as my tolerance level for our own specialised 'Hindi Remakes' is quiet less.
If you like action the furious one playing this weekend is for you

P.S - A word for JM. I will go with bennyboy rating. Movie is good no doubt but highly predictable.

Lionardo DiCaprio has really grown into a dependable actor. He is also cast in many Martin Scoresese (my favourite Hollywood Director) films. He did a good job in Revolutionary Road too. Tonight I am going to watch Blood Diamond. Next in line : The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, starring Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck and Boys Don't Cry, starring Hilary Swank.

It's one of my all time favourites. It's what I call a perfect movie. You cannot fault with it. Right from start to end it's perfect.

I'd second your ratings and even give it 4.5/5.

Even imdb gives it a 7.7/10 which is high.

Millions (2004)
Millions:
Directed by Danny Boyle. One of his lesser known works, atleast here in India. But a brilliant film nonetheless. Story of a 7 year old kid who is a big fan of saints, finds a bag full of pounds. There are only a few days left till the country switches to Euros, and after that all pounds will become useless. So, he and his elder 10 yr old brother have only a few days to make good use of the money. The younger kid wants to "help the poor" while the elder one just wants to spend it all! He even tries to buy a flat!!

An excellent film, once you get past the slightly hard to understand welsh accent.

I wont rate it. I'll give a watch-it-or-trash-it ala Set Pix.
Watch it if you have the patience to get past a tough accent, and enjoy cinematography from a different view and are a fan of Danny Boyle's art (please dont judge him based on only Slumdog)

Juno
Story of a 16 yr old girl who gets pregnant and decides to give the child up for adoption once it is born. I really liked the film. Nice music too and no emotional overdose. The character of Juno is really likeable and you cant help but grow fond of her as the movie goes along.
Watch it.
