@John, Avi : Why do i get the feeling that if i rewatch 'Finding Nemo' once my gal is old enough to understand, the tug of the heart would be greater? Frankly, the movie didnt really make so much of an impression on me this time round. Sometimes, watching it again may definitely help.

Exactly. For example, some of my all time favorites like Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Pulp Fiction which I didnt like the first time around. The more i watch it, the more it gets in-grained into the mind

As Samurai asked about the worst ones for me this one takes the cake easily.
Saw it couple of years back in Pvr Saket.
Was so horrible few friends left in midway. I sat till the end as movie was not sponsored but paid through my own pocket

An animated movie with excellent graphics, which are so life-like at times that you sit and marvel at the sheer scale of it all. That apart, the story is average, but will certainly appeal to the younger viewers.

Story deals with a little fish who during an effort to prove himself to his dad lands up in the captivity of divers and finally in an aquarium. His dad sets out to locate him and get him back, but should cross the deep blue ocean in the process, something which he has been scared to do so all his life.

Normally your and my rating goes hand in hand however this one is quiet low for me. Everyone has a different opinion so i can take this.
For me one of the best animations i have seen till date. Beautiful and sad at the same time. Simple story but very well potrayed.
Will rate it atleast 4.5/5

- Ice Age (1 & 2)
- The Incredibles
- etc etc

There are more in Tv serials too but that would be OT here
Incredibles was a very fun to watch one. Really enjoyed it. Heard a sequel was in the production- any info?
WallE and Cars are another two cute ones.

@Carboy- You didn't like eagle eye? The end was kinda stupid but rest of movie i found quiet gripping.

Pink Panther 1 (Steve Martin) is much better than Pink Panther 2. But, the original series are much better!

Deja Vu

The English Movies Thread (No Spoilers Please)-10006504.jpg

Denzel Washington stars in this gripping, edge-of-your-seats movie which deals with a terrorist attack on a ferry. Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (MI fame), the movie is laden with action sequences which are nicely done. Denzel stars as Doug working for the ATF (firearms and explosives) department who sets to unravel the plot behind the explosion.

The movie in itself banks on the concept of time travel, which seems too far-fetched and unnatural. Good performances from the cast and slick action make it worth a watch.

Saw Pink Panther 1 last night and i was in splits most of the times.

It is way way better than PP 2 which i found was exaggerated and not funny at all. Loved Steve Martin as much as i did in Bowfinger, Planes, Trains,Automobiles and Bringing down the house

3.5/5

Ditto Mobike. My sentiments exactly. Regarding Steve's other movies, I liked most of his movies. The other movies of his that should not be missed are The Three Amigos, Father of the Bride and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

It is a good movie. Although a bit slow. But, the twist in the end is really surprising and it puts you in a dilema and you fail to understand if hero's final call was correct or wrong.

My vote goes that his call was incorrect. See the movie and judge for yourself
