Watched this movie yesterday. Directed by Imtiaz Ali (who later directed Jab We Met) - the movie has a cliched story. But it has been handled beautifully by the director. Abhay Deol and Ayesha Takia make their debuts and they do a good job too.

A run of the mill story but is light, breezy and fun to watch. Music is good too (more in sync with the mood of the scene when the songs are played).

Verdict - 4/5. Do not miss.

Yes it is

I had seen this movie some time back last years or so & did find it nice & I wondered why did it flop.

Btw Imtiaz Ali seems fixated with stories where people meet during a Journey

Yup Hemant - it's a 4 year old movie. And the thing that really works in the movie's favour is that there are no OTT reactions by people to normal situations. It's very real if you may call it.

I had always seen bits and pieces of the movie on TV channels. Thought of watching it at one go and I must say that was the best decision I made.

Exactly, and it so refreshing to watch movies like this. I've seen this movie 2-3 times and I still like it. Actually we kind of became a fan of Abhay Deol after this movie. God only knows why the movie was flopped(or was it?)

Another movie, not same genre but was great to watch was "Seher". Dunno why that movie also flopped. Very well executed movie and so real and great performance.

Yes Seher was one of the rare movies where you see Arshad in a serious role & boy what a performance he has given in the movie.

If I have to rate it - 4/5

Watched Kambakhth Ishq non-stop non-sense, and the usage of abusive language is so liberal. An absolute waste of time.

Sehar was awesome. Arshad was totally in check by his director and this could easily be his best performance. The movie was shot brilliantly too. Even Sushant Singh acted brlliantly, but then he almost always does.

I would give it - 3.5/5.

Seen neither of the two (seher & SNT). Looks like a torrent visit is looming

Just back after watching " Sankat City" in theatre.

It seemed like a rip-off from the famous brit movie "Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrel". This movie has a bunch of characters always running behind money and some of them steal money from one party and it circle backs to the original party under supposedly funny coincidences etc.

It screamed of a B-grade look through out. Bad screenplay, Shoddy editing ( scenes swiping out for the next one---maybe it's a new age style but it didnt gel), drab locations and language used by Anupam Kher was weird, not sure which dialect it was. But he was the only saving grace of the entire movie. Superb acting by him.

All actors ( Kay Kay Menon, Rimi Sen, Yashpal Yadav) were wasted. Manoj Pahwa was another saving grace.

Overall, it neither makes you laugh, smile or cry but surely did make me yawn a few times. Don't waste your money, watch it when it comes on Moser Baer

1.5/5
