Interestingly, none of Salman's recent movies seem to be even worth watching - neither Wanted nor London Dreams.

Just checked out couple of reviews on IMDB, and seems Hadippa is a decent movie -Dil Bole Hadippa! (2009) - IMDb user comments

But, I still have my fingers crossed.

Saw Dil Bole Hadippa last night at Waves, Raja Garden. Frankly speaking, the story is pretty lame, very predictable. Can watch once, if you have nothing better to do. I will rate it not more than 1.5 stars out of 5.

Wanted

A very eighties movie in soul but technically it's based in 2009. We have a super hero who can dance, sing, kill, make you laugh and win a bimbo of a girl in a flash.

Salman Khan is tailor amde for the role which requires no chance of any acting. Ayesha Takia plays a dumb kind of a female who falls for our super hero. The bad guys and good guys are there in equal number - the action is fast and furious and never ending. Sadly the songs are bakwaas.

A couple of one liners are funny and evoke laughter....that's about it for the script.

Verdict - 2/5. Watch it ONLY if you have nothing to do.

Watched 'Wanted' a few hours back.
We liked it.
NC has given a good description and i agree but somehow we enjoyed the movie.
Maybe as it was s masala film and we are not used to of that anymore!
BTW Ayesha looks awesome!

Rating - 3/5

Pokirri is originally made in Telugu starring Mahesh Babu and directed by Puri Jagganth

Somehow Salman couldn't portray the intensity that Mahesh Babu could.

But overall a not-so-overacting-performance from Salman.

Guys Anybody knows the story line of "What's your Rashee" last night I saw an interview where I came to know that the name of Harman's character is Yogesh Patel Now that instantly rang a bell, wasn't the TV serial Mr Yogi based on this theme i.e. he meets girls with different rashees?

EDIT: This is what I found about the serial

Quote:
Mr Yogi: Mohan Gokhale played Mr Yogi who comes to India in search of a bride. Om Puri plays sutradhar who directs the story of Yogi. The story revolves around Yogi and his search for a perfect bride. The ending episode had Yogi marrying Om Puri's daughter. 13 episodes and 13 girls. Hilarious.

This is what I heard on radio the other day about the story: Yogesh Patel is in the US and is called home to India by his parents and asked to get married in 10 days ( dont know why). They have lined up 150+ girls for him. Due to paucity of time, he plans to see one girl of each rashee and this is where Priyanka steps in.
This is all I know.

Even I think it would be loosely based on that serial that i loved watching. However, i can imagine it won't be a patch on the original series for sure.

I am eagerly waiting to watch it this weekend.

And then Wake Up Sid & Blue of course !!

It's based on the book on which the serial was based too. Exact story line - only production values are bigger and more glamarous and we have a stupid actor like Harman in place of the original Mr Yogi.

LOL - I feel the exact opposite about What's your Rashee, Varun !

Wake Up Sid is going to rock though !
