Oops yes you are right NC, the Dancer was the Leo girl.

Btw I believe almost all of the Girls shown were from Gujju families, how come this Saggi one was not(I have not heard of Shukla surname in Gujjus)

just got back from forum pvr 6-10pm show - i liked the movie as a one time watch 3/5
I would say they cut 2 songs in pvr - leo (gola girl) and saggi (astrologer).
Overall good work with Priyanka and Harman was lucky to get such a good role, ofcourse the other supporting cast makes it possible to sit the 4 hrs.

Here is my take on the women (i am not married so i have an independant view

)
Both sanjana (aquarius?) and hansa (which sign was she?) had some ex-bf issues, sanjana was much more happy types while hansa had intensity of the real gloomy/dark kinds.
I thought he would go after the leo girl with the gola in his hand and win her back

Virgo was good too but unfortunately tied to her cause and hence immobile!
Taurean was pretty pointless (acting looney for what?) but a good song.
Scorpio was good but had some other agenda.
saggi - didnt understand what her glitch was (and i am saggi!)
The rest were forgetable fillers for me

Yes He was known but by that comment I wanted to highlight that the Hero doesnt show any Gujju mannerisms & neither do his father nor the grandfather, Only the brother, Uncle & a few prospects looked the part.

I just googled the review of Wake Up Sid - and picked up this from NDTV's Site -

The Reviewer has given *** / 5

Seems to be another dream world movie from Mr Karan Johar !! I am a bit hesitant in watching this now !

Just watching TV right now and saw this on Headlines Today - MNS opposes the movie as they use the word Bombay instead of Mumbai. I guess it's going to be a bit of a problem for this movie screening in Maharashtra this weekend

Just watching TV right now and saw this on Headlines Today - MNS opposes the movie as they use the word Bombay instead of Mumbai. I guess it's going to be a bit of a problem for this movie screening in Maharashtra this weekend

Watched Wake up Sid today, good movie and must watch. Total fun. Ranbir reminded me of my college days totally dazed. 4/5 for this movie

Just came back home after watching Sid Wake Up! Unfortunately, I ended up feeling like sleeping. The movie is full of confusion! Right from the lead actors to the director. Except a couple of good/funny scenes there's nothing great or even good about it.

For me it's 2/5.

Saw Wake up Sid yesterday. I really liked it. Ranbir fits the character perfectly, and Anupam Kher was brilliant as usual. Konkana has also acted well

The Fox

This is a movie i saw on DVD, starring Arjun Rampal, Sunny Deol and Sagarika (the Chak de team captain.). Surprisingly not much has been said or heard about it.

The movie is not bad (yeah seriously). Arjun is a lawyer who gets criminals off the hook, then one day he changes his mind and leaves his profession. He goes to Goa and meets some guy who gives him a manuscript of a book to read. The next day that guy is dead, and the plot starts.
Its an interesting thriller which leaves you guessing till the end. Acting is average.
The songs could have been left out.
But, all in all a good one time watch preferably on a DVD/CD.

Me n wifey saw Wake Up Sid yesterday .. It's a good movie .. Very simple story and all the actors have done justice to their roles ... Ranvir is awesome and Konkana is amazing as always ..

Its not a masala movie with twists and turns .. There are not many comic scenes either but its a story with a theme.

The film stretches itself a little in the middle part but thats only a little and manageable.

My rating 3.5/5.

Is a great watch if you are with your Girl Friend or biwi
