Watched Kurban this evening. I felt it was well made movie. Primarily, I liked it because it is not preachy!

Worth watching once.

Yeah, 100 bucks is a good price. Order it just after midnight so you have it for 24 hours. Else, it expires at midnight.

Saw Kurbaan



Bollywood seems to be obsessed with this theme, earlier it was New York, now Kurbaan & next in line is My Name is Khan.

This one shows slightly different side than New York & it neither gets into the gory details nor does any preaching. The first half is nice & crisp. The 2nd half gets a bit stretched.

Saif does well in negative roles (Remeber Ek Hasina Thi?).

There are some technical glitches in story like Kareena who is supposed to be a professor suddenly becomes a house wife whose husband goes to work(Who has actually landed a job because of her job) while she keeps spying at the neighbors house & there are more of such slips.

I guess that's what even Tanveer is suggesting.

But still the movie is overall good because of good acting by all & nice soundtrack & some good direction.

After previous experience quoted on previous pages of this thread, i never watch these recent ones.

What i heard from some are that Bimbo, Kareena looks tip top in her makeup, well manicured even in extreme conditions, Amazing.

Well there are loadsa glitches, for those who have seen it
1. how did Vivek oberoi know kareena would be getting out with kirron kher ( the shopping mall incident)when she was house arrested
2. how did the american cop survive the bomb attack.

I seriously found 2nd half to be fake , predictive and boring. I wouldnt give more than 2.5 for this one.

For me its a disaster like CC2C.
Better stay away from akshay and priyadarshan movie as its becoming more crap day by day.
First half is so boring i was about to sleep.

Saw "Kurbaan" a few days ago.

I really liked the movie, it was intense and seething with anger and hatred. It was pleasant to watch such an intense movie after a long time.

All characters played their role very well and for first time director ( Rensil D' Silva) he did a damn good job.

As said by many, lots of glitches, a few from my end :-

1. Why does Kareena still love Saif after such a horrible betrayal?

2. American agent is the nearest guy when bomb goes away and he escapes

Other than above, rest were minor that can be overlooked it being a bollywood movie.

Saw Kurbaan yesterday. What a waste !

Extremely tacky production values, terrible "acting" by the foreign blokes and a loose story.

I would give it only 1/5

Saw Aladin

This movie is a big letdown and the story is a direct copy from a old disney film Aladin with some altrations, they sunjay dutt role is inspired from joker in batman and noting seems right in this movie.
