Yup Eddy, I do accept to what you say. However, understanding the political scenario would ensure that the person enjoys the movie/sees it in correct light. The discussion was just to get a better understanding of who played the role of whom. Anyways, in order to keep this thread clean, we would abstain from political discussions.

OT: Eagerly awaiting for RC-2. Surya is surely a treat to watch.

I will not see this movie until someone stamps an approval. I am yet to come out of shock of "Kites"

From the looks of the trailers, Hirthik is yet again handicapped or brain dead type of character with a toothy nonsensical smile plastered on his face.

SLB spends a lot of moolah on sets. But, then thats about it. Lets see if he does something different. I dont have too many hopes on it

What colour theme is this film going to have ? I am guessing red.

His previous movie (Sawariya) was a "blue film" !

+1

Hrithik mostly is part of poor movies except the ones his father made(& few exceptions here & there), Kites broke that record too & SLB too wasnt much promising in his last movie either.

For the record I just got my hands on an original DVD of 'Clerk' today

Cool! for others, the entire movie is on Youtube.
Be ready to wake up laughing out loud in the middle of the night, Dippy.
Do post a review, if at all and keep us updated on any other such gems that you know of.

Man, maybe even Hera Pheri or Russel Peters can't give you the laughs that 'So bad, it's good' cinema can give!!

Dont worry I can vouch for the Hamminess. I have watched this movie N number of times on the Zee Classic channel. I wanted this in my collection plus me and a few friends are planning movie marathon night on the weekend to watch this category movies so this will be one of them.

Have you seen Desh Drohi?

^^Have seen a few scenes from Desh Drohi. Assorted ones at that!

A few recommendations for your movie marathon(if you haven't heard of these):

'Gunda'(marks the defining moment of Indian Cinema. A work of sheer genius. Poetry on celluloid. Certainly does not belong to this list), 'Loha', 'Jaani Dushman' and 'Disco Dancer'. After watching these, your friends will become your best friends.

Another one would be 'Shera'. You will be astounded at the number of new forms of martial art that were introduced through this movie.

Check out clips of Sajid Khan's 'Kehne mein kya harz hai' on Youtube for many more. It's an absolute treasure chest.

Also check if you can lay your hands on 'Khooni Raat'. Not to be confused with the 1991 movie by the same name. I haven't watched it but this priceless dance number shall definitely catch your fancy!!

@Jayabusa: I have seen all these Mithun movies and I always catch them when aired on TV. Others would be Chandaal, Shere Hindustan and like you mentioned, Shera. The snake power in Mithun's hands is worth a million bucks alone.

Kehne Mein kya Harz Hai was my favourite show on TV. I still see the Ham scene sections on Youtube

Infact I find all of Ramsay's horror movies funny too.

My rating: 4\5

Totally onboard. I was under the impression that the silly commentary was done by RGV himself. Or was it someone else?

Crook: 2.5/5

You can see Captiva, Cruze and Aveo I guess

Emraan Hashmi looks thin and different (maybe I should watch more of his films). The gal looked nice. Not a family movie IMHO.

The twist in the story is a twist but digestible.

Now that you mention. I wont be surprised if its RGV as the accent was heavy and telugu'sh

I am going to see this movie only for that

I like Emraan Hashmi and his movies. Nothing ground breaking but, good visuals and time pass flicks. He has more hit songs to his credit than other main heros. There is even a CD ( Emraan Hashmi Songs) dedicated to him.

How many popular heros can talk about such a thing?

Yeah, that's the beauty of Bollywood. Those who lip-sync get all the credit and singers get paid something like 20,000 rupees for a song.
