I generally don't watch horror movies, and I seldom watch hindi movies. Combined, I've probably never watched a hindi horror movie before.

Without putting any spoilers, I'll say that I seriously didn't understand the point of the movie, and the acting was ridiculous. Perhaps it's just me, but I regret wasting 160 bucks on this lol.

I completely agree with this review.

I am just back from watching 13B. It starts off a little slow building up the story and maybe after 30 minutes ( mind you this doesnt mean that first 30 minutes are boring, definetly not) the tempo of the movie picks up and omigosh, it really soars skywards and leaves you panting and clutching your seat for the entire length of the movie ( especially post intermission is delicious for lovers like me of this genre)

Superb camera work with most of the picture shot in monochrome type and with some lovely hand held camera work. Direction if i understand correctly is done by a debutant and great first work. Subject is common but the way it was presented could be the first for this genre.

Mahadevan is brilliant and runs through emotions with ease and is a pleasure to watch.

Murali Sharma in a tiny role makes his mark with some nice comic timing and dialogues.

Rest of the cast did their bit adequately and support the movie nicely.

People, do do do go and watch this movie. I am confident you wont be disappointed.

My rating : 5/5

Watched 13B on Saturday Night. I absolutely loved it.

I usually dont watch horror movies becaise I dont think painting some one's face white & making them dress like Beggers with ironed hairs make them ghosts neither do I like horror movies with weird faces.

Anyways the movie is shot very well & has a gripping tale to tell.

People who like scary movies with scare crow like ghosts might not like this one.

This movie is more like a Thriller than an all out horror movie.

The songs in the movie could have been completely avoided as neither they suit the script nor do you remember the songs once they are over

4.5/5

I saw 13B this afternoon and I agree with Techno and Eddy. I liked the movie a lot. The first half was a bit of a drag but it picked up pace as the movie progressed. It was scary and a thriller at the same time. The music was not needed but the ' Sab Khairiat" song sounds spooky now And the cook book joke was over the top.

I would give it 4/5

Watched The Stoneman Murders, what a lovely movie. This again is thriller & becomes very gripping in 2nd half. Infact some scenes make you very anxious just like horror movies

Kay Kay Menon as usual is brilliant, not much of a role for Arbaaz Khan but he does his best in whatever scenes that he have got.

The direction is fast paced & story telling is crisp. A few points to ponder though & thats why I wont give it 5/5.

4/5
