Please don't bother watching CC2C - it's NONSENSE! I made the mistake of watching it - infact I willingly rented a DVD.

If Stanley Kubrick would have forced Alex DeLarge to watch CC2C as part of his therapy in A Clockwork Orange, Alex would have begged to be tortured instead.

I liked the old Channel V ads of QGM too - pity the movie couldn't match up.

Saw Kaminey

Good performances by all the actors specially Shahid who has put up a brilliant performance & decent direction but my experience was ruined by the high expectations raised after reading reviews which had compared Vishal Bhardawaj to QT & film with Sholay. I am sorry while its a good movie its certainly not in that league.

I observed some technical glitches in filming of songs.

My Rating -3.5

Kaminey
Too many stories going on in parallel. Although they come together in the end but it is bound to leaves the audience confused. Piggy Chops for a change gives a preformance instead of just pouting. Shahid is good in both 'avatars' and steals the show.
I would rate 3.5 /5.

Yes, Kaminey is overhyped. It is just OK, not a great movie per se.

I heard that Sophie has a Bikini scene. Other then that watching the promos made me feel uneasy in the stomach. Only a brave soul would want to lose 3 hours of his life.

LOL! You should have seen the review on MTV Tickr that was shown all of today regarding Daddy Cool. It was awesome!

One example :
'If Daddy is cool, does that mean Mommy is HOT?!'

I was laughing like hell reading the tickr on this movie.

one more: This is the only movie where Anupam Kher doesn't play daddy

Today's highlight was the movie TOSS.

Q: What are the producers of the movie TOSS expecting
A : LOSS

I guess we shud have a separate thread for discussing the tickr

The entire movie is irritating to the core. There is no plot whatsover with the characters blabbering hindi dialogues in a south Indian accent. Names like Rice Plate Reddy, MBA Rowdy and Mango Dolly(Rambha of all) really dont sound funny. There is Lola Kutty too if you havent had enough of her on [V]. Vinay Pathak, Sandhya Mridul and Ranvir appear in unwanted cameos. The movie appears like a Dosa Cookery Show.

If I should say in Murugan's style : MIND IT AND AVOID IT I SAY!!

Rating: What rating?

In fact, many reviews are saying that what you see in promos are the only funny part of the movie.

Guys,

I request everyone to watch the movie Y.M.I-Yeh Meri India. It is really a very very good movie and has captured many recent events of our city(mum) and india as a whole a strikes a cord within you. Trust me on this. It is not a commercial movie like a crap movie called kambhaqt ishq which was a serious waste. I wished every individual in this city watched this movie. Its that good and brings out the essence of secularism and communal unity.

Regards,
Renny
