I am a big fan of Paresh and Boman Irani. I try not to miss their movies.

They are one of the finest actors of current era.
Thanks.

I started watching the movie with zilch expectations, that's why i was happy with the movie. There were a couple of scenes where literally i jumped on my seat, clapped and laughed on the situation.

@Mobike, i am also a big fan of both of them. You will love Paresh in this movie. He acted differently, not too loud like he is in Priyadarshan's movies.

Saw Kartik calling Kartik today. Was pretty much sure what it would be about and it turned out correct. Farhan is turning out to be a good actor, Deepika is okay nothing exceptional but does what she is supposed to do.

I will give it a 3.5/5

+1 to what @chevelle has written about Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge.

It is light hearted and clean comedy with a good dose of emotions and devotion thrown in. The best part of this movie is there's not a single sleazy/suggestive, double meaning dialouge in it. It's a complete family entertainer. You can take everybody from grand parents to little chintu and munni to watch this one!

While, there are a couple of scenes that might look a little over stretched but the others more than make up for it; especially the Ravan and Hanuman scene!

The star of the movie is undoubtedly Paresh Rawal and is well supported by Ajay Devgan and Konkona Sen.

My rating would be 4/5 too.

Somehow, I always feel that abhay deol, gives a different touch to every movie of his ...
Just came home from Road Movie show at Cinemax ...

All I can say people who should watch this movie if they want to see following things:

1. 1942 made Chevy Truck (Khatara) which break downs every now and then runs for 6 days without fuel refill

2. A banjaran girl in sexy love making scene + climax with some french kissing

3. Goon leader letting AD and his friends go with his water ( as they are goons of water) for exchange of oil (AD's fathers hair oil)

4. Road Movie show in middle of nowhere becomes part of Mela which is setup in half day and gone in morning and the movie show fetches 45K

5. Super Dialog's such as

(Tumhare pass dil toh hai lekin "Do pairo ke bich me")

(Tel lagao mard bano)

(Muze pani do aakhir mene tumhe mard banaya hai)

List is long ...

It was quite a experience:

Chose Road Movie over KCK and Atithi Kab Jaoge on saturday night

Spent 200 per ticket to watch sumthing which is beyong imagination

Was enjoying the show with excatly 12 other people in screen 3 of Cinemax

Had to control my friend who almost tried to throw her Coke Glass on screen

But I still remember Dev D so will go for AD movie's again

This is a cool movie too. A must watch for Paresh and Boman. Nice twist and turns in the movies keeps you on tenter hooks, very few movies can do that in bollywood

Atithi Tume Kab Jaoge. 3.75 stars

- Delightful movie.
- Top class acting by Paresh. Well supported by other. Akshay instead of Ajay would have been perfect though.
- Not stretched at all. Finishes in flat 2 hours.
- I loved the music, some others may not like it. However, the bhajan was TOP CLASS
- Two or three howlarious scenes. Otherwise, you will keep smiling throughout the movie

Go watch it

I love riding.
Some folks love riding in the mountains, some like to ride in forests.

I however like wide open spaces.
Where the air is dry and brittle. When searching for a tree is very important. Throats parched as I scan the distance for a tree.

Maybe its some gene in my body that keeps pulling me into it.
I play simple games. Look at clouds and try to think when i would come under it.
When the smell of the earth overrides every sense in your body.

Road, Movie opens with Vishnu selling oil along with his father.
A chance puts him in possesion of an old truck. He decides to drive it across to a mueseum.
En route he meets some people.
They change him.

As he enters the road, the camera spans out into the open.
I was entralled. I fell in love with this movie.

He picks up a young boy, an old mechanic and later a gypsy girl.
He meets corrupt police, the water mafia and poor people.

The scene where they are playing the Charlie Chaplin movie. Awesome.

The raw sensuality of the Gypsy lady, the enthusiam of the boy and the generosity of the old man.

His encounter with the water mafia borders on the absurd. In fact its very absurdity makes it work.

I don't think most people will like this movie. But I am glad I watched it in a theater.
No way can the open roads fit in a small TV screen.

I saw Maharathi 36 hours after my wedding

Was an okay watch, but if you go in with high expectations you may be dissapointed.
