hi,
have just shifted to Gurgaon and I am looking for a driver.
Does anyone have any information on registered driver service providers in Gurgaon or any other place from where i can look at hiring a trustworthy driver.
many thanks

Welcome to Gurgaon!

I would suggest that you look for a driver who lives in Delhi (and hence not a local) - the "local" ones are a strict "No-no" for me at least. They are potential trouble makers & the bulk of them are not the types that I'd trust my vehicle or my family with.

(Just my opinion, its not that people don't hire local drivers).

Don't know of Gurgaon but in Delhi it's real pain to hire one, have changed around 3 drivers since 5 months. :(

I'll also be interested in hearing for agencies indulged in such services in Delhi.

Oh yes a driver is avaialble, but is quite a quirky fellow and has conditions. If it suits you, you can hire:

Name: Answers to GD, GD bhai etc.

Age: 50 yrs

Driving experience: 32 years

Types of vehicles: All, including truck

Preferrable vehicle: Big, powerful SUVs

Working hours: 9 am to 8 pm

Holidays: Sundays, National Hoilidays, Days of TBHP meets etc.,

Remuneration: enough to sustain current lifestyle

Hobbies: Travelling, Photography

Habits: To ogle, stare, follow and have a roving eye & mind.

Non-smoker, drink sometimes, non-gambler.

GD, I just queried for a driver.
what you are talking about is a 'mentor' on 'living the life' in gurgaon. doubt i can afford one (not even on EMI's)

on a serious note i saw some company called 'hubert ebner' - any clue on that and if 7k Pm is a fair charge for a driver

How many hours duty per day? What about Overtime? How many years driving experience does the person concerned have?

7k is steep if the person doesn't have at least 10+ years driving experience. Also, working hours should be 9-10 hours in a day.

Re: Looking for a Driver in Gurgaon

Hi All T-BHPians from NCR. I have recently shifted to Gurgaon and am looking for a driver here. Pls do let me know of any reliable leads. I have not been hearing many good things about the drivers here.

Also, pls advise what the regular salary range is here in Gurgaon.
