hey harrie you should hae marinated the chicken in a mix of ginger, garlic paste, black pepper and some red chilly paste and lime and vinegar for about 2-3 hours and then shallow fried it ,

well i have 3 yrs of cooking experience coz i live away from family ... Indian food abrad is quite pathetic so i got to manage on my own..i thinki do a decent job at it too..

Count me in - I find cooking quite inspiring as I get a lot of ideas while I'm at it.

South Indian, Italian, a bit of Chinese and a bit of Malay stuff. All vegetarian, since I'm a converted veggie.

Well i cook non Veg, Rice, and daal. However my chapatis resemble india map, and that to the physical one with three D himalayas.

Wow! so many cooks in this forum. I can do a decent bit of cooking. went to the catering college amongst other academic pursuits. love to cook nveg food especially seafood.at the risk of sounding pompous ...im quite good

A can of tuna meat
chopped-onions-dhania-tomato(and squeeze the water outta them after chopping)-green chillies-salt-black pepper-a few drops of lemon juice-a dash of mayo....Presto! uve got tuna salad or a tuna sandwich filling or a topping for canapes.

i'd say replace the mayo with tartar sauce ...

now ..who can cook some Pao Bhaji huh ?

okay, so that's the aromatic flavours that i get wafting down from oberoi towers towards vasant sagar on a saturday night -

now where's that invite - btw, i'm not too bad too

most manage anything in continental, italian and the traditional rice and chicken curry in any coloured gravy...

my fav is chicken stroganoff - with herbed rice, simple tasty and healthy as well...

learnt it all after d-day - 3 years ago

yeap done that ..infact survived quote a few times just on the delicacy we call maggi..
have to smoke those sausages and throw some tabasco!

RIGHTON TURBO LOVER, TARTARE SAUCE IS MADE FROM MAYO, SO IT WOULD BE THE SAME THING
RECEPIE FOR TARTARE SAUCE:
MAYO+FINELY CHOPPED ONIONS, PARSLEY, GHERKINS+lemon juice(to make a masala version add dhania,green chillies, tomato)

2 years on and no new cooks eh ? Are we men getting lazier by the day ? At least I am - haven't learnt anything new.
