The dostana part of Goa sucked big time and the Sneha part was stupid. Not to mention the attempt to loot back the gold from the casino ship. And guys if you remember therez a scene where the housekeeping guy sees the gold in the bag and the glow is shown in his face. I am still not sure what was intended in that scene.

Goa was a waste of time, atleast for me.
TamizhPadam was very good in the first half, lot slower in the second but thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Especially the following dialogue "I was born ten years back, but am only ten years old to fight the criminals"

@cruiser : you could be sure that the only thing that has made the movie escape the wrath of the tamil movie industry is......its producer !!!

Tamil industry is definitely mature.
There are far stronger and influential people in the film industry than Azhagiri's son.

^ The songs are amazingly sweet in this movie. Hosanna & Aromalae are the best. Waiting for this one's release. Might possibly be a break for Simbu

Another notable thing about Tamil films...

In Tamil films, all the bikes are of TVS !

I noticed Kamalhaasan using Royal Enfield motorcycles in his films.

Surya endorses TVS brand and you can see him always use RTR or Star or other TVS bikes.

Ah, slowly this thread is "shifting gears" to 2x2 drive section...

Songs by AR.. I think first Simbu + ARR combi...

Surya is the Brand Ambassador for TVS (Star City). May be that's why he comes in the Apache RTR in Ayan and the modified Star City in Sillunu Oru Kadhal. But other than that I don't see any trend of using TVS Bikes.
