A 4x4 is not possible on your chassis. Since your Bolero is quite old try looking at storm. If you have loads of money change your gearbox to new NGT 530R with brogwarner transfer case, plus again you will have to add drive shafts diff and wheel hubs of 4wd scorpio. Only in this case you can retain IFS and 4wd on Bolero platform

P.s- Wait for the new MM540 (Not a secret now- Autocar has published that M&M is making such vehicle) You may have Cj looks with scorpio aggregates in 4wd form. A killer combo! Well how long is the wait no one knows as according to Autocar, M&M is yet to decide on its launch in domestic market.

bhp1 has this love hate relationship with the bolero. Let him be.

@bhp1: Instead of asking the MODS to change the heading on this topic itself (i understand the intentions though ) you are better off using this -> http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/announ...t-quality.html

The pictures of my totally stock Bolero GLX coming up.

Excellent attitude here. But the same doesn’t reflect on your tone of voice.

Your signature says “Routine and prejudice distort vision. Each man thinks his own horizon is the limit of the world”. And you’re the one who’s displaying it fully.

I’m requesting you to change your tone. This is simply not acceptable in this forum. Consider this as a warning.

it has taken us effort to bring so many bolero owners to come forward, participate and post images of their cars here, making this a fun thread to be at and have your cars be seen at. things are going well infact a few bolero owners including myself are also considering organising a bolero meet.
then almost out of nowhere comes bhp1,making his unecessary rude statements like lame duck, dabba and crude uv...etc.
what happened last evening with all those harsh words exchanged was totally uncalled for.
bouquets and brickbats are always welcome, but one needs to draw the line somewhere.

Post edited. We hope to see a clean thread running from now on. Please carry on.

Wow! Some frightfully smart looking 'dabbas' here!

To me, personally, these lame ducks look smarter than the Scorpio! The classic grille and exposed door hinges. I have a weakness for them!
Boxy body, giving you the maximum space on the inside, which is where we expect to be most of the time!

Guys ,
Excellent photos and believe it or not, bolstering my decision to buy a Bolero .

@Milecruncher I have read and re-read you reports on the Storm and it really helps in understanding the vehicle and its limitations.

If only a few more pictures and more importantly reviews of latest Boleros (I know a lot of reviews are available for the older versions but the latest on offering is CRDE) are made available that would be a great help to people like me.

The versatility of Bolero is evident from pictures of MGE and it is no surprise that it is the best selling SUV in India.

Keep the photos coming in we are waiting for more !
