Seriously I know what research goes on in this field here in India. In an economy that is so dependent on agriculture, the amount of real research going on in this field is abysmal!

We supply scientific equipment to many such labs and institutes around the country, and trust me I know the amount of corruption that plagues the agricultural industry.
Policemen and politicians taking bribes is peanuts compared to the money these guys play with!

Now if only that money actually reached the people...I hope Rahul Ghandi is actually able to persevere with his dream...

According to the article, more than 80% of all cotton in India is Bt!!!
