I voted for India merely to support its cause. However, India would be expected to do well this time, as has been seen before, the team thats most expected to do well don't in the T20 format. India and Pakistan were no where in the reckoning last time and we all know what happened. Same with IPL, who expected RCB and DCH to fight the finals. SO heart says India, mind probably West Indies.

I have not seen the squad of Aussies & I hope Hayden, Gilli, Symonds, Hodge were not in the list. Watching our entire team playing as a single unit will be a treat esp after this IPL. Its tough to take a call on this for me...... Will be good if India makes into the first four list

I think no one can predict this ..... On a given day even WI can beat the mighty Indians. The way IPL has gone no one can say anything ..... Heart says India .. Brain is confused

I hope India would win.
With a stronger team this time around, they should be able to defend the 2007 WC Title.

The world cup will play on ESPN/Star Sports Exclusively.

Not sure if doordarshan has any sub rights...doubt it infact.

India certainly stands a good chance. Thoug I think it is very hectic for the players to play back to back series. Must be completely drained out after IPL.

Star cricket will be broadcasting every matches of the series while Doordarshan will be broadcasting the matches played by India in group stages along with the semi-final and final of the tournament.

We lost to the Black Caps yesterday. It looked more like a friendly game but still the turbanator looked ordinary compared to Ojha.

How long are we going to tolerate him ?

Till the time he gives away 100 runs in 4 overs, I am considering such figures as it will be a BCCI decision.

The lack lustre performance of yesterday only furthers the thought that India at best will only reach the semi-final stage. Brilliance in a few spots.

Do you really think that this is a format even experts can predict? One day and test matches one can understand, but this is a format where two teams are matched and start on an almost even ground. At the most one of the team would have a 60-40 advantage - not more..

Did someone see how Bangladesh managed to score 180 odd runs against the Aussies! The first couple of overs were a treat to watch - Bracken had that '???' look on his face

Boss log,

Symonds is off to Australia guys, breached the code of conduct by having not permitted drinks ( you guys know what I am talking about ).

He has done this second time, what a mess Australia is in these days as a nation.

Cheers !

Voted for India because
1) It's my country
2) We have a pretty good team, which is easily capable of winning.
