I checked out the listing too but did not make a purchase because of quality concerns/fake.

Another watch there, a Pathfinder is having huge discount.

are these worth anything?

Guys, i read about tissot that their warranties/indemnities etc is not valid on watched bought online.
any comments?
@mayankk - yes they'r worth fair bit. However, it depends on what the problem with the watch is. If it's not a case of missing parts, and the watch is otherwise in pristine condition, it could be quite valuable.
There's quite a large overseas market for these watches

Again I ask the same question, which I asked some time back.

Lots of Edifice owners. But none for Pro-Trekker range?

Dont worry about the product, he's a genuine dealer with good feedback. I personally bought 2 watches from him with a huge discount than others in Ebay.

If you have keen eyes, the packing is a dead give away. The next is the markings on the face or the dial of the watch. See if they are properly aligned and straight. Next if its a chronograph, see if it actually works.

I won a bid on ebay and as soon as I looked at the packaging I knew it was a fake. If my memory serves me right, the seller was elanwatch.

I got a genuine watch and it came in a Casio box other than the carton where you can keep the watch for years.

Which watch do you own?-649645_100610214930_casio_boxes.jpg

Also made a cross check with the local dealer and confirmed that its an original piece. According to him its a good deal as he cant match with that price. Yes its coming along with the invoice and Casion one year warranty too.

If anything goes wrong, you can always raise a claim within 20 days for the refund and EBay is too open for genuine reasons.

@akhilesh, the seller name is timeclubindia

here's my bid details:
eBay India: EDIFICE EF534D-1AV Chronograph Mens Watch (item 300540935287 end time 02-Apr-2011 17:00:00 IST)

Hi Mayankk,
"Westend" is a fairly common brand in India, I have a matchless too, bought for around 2k. Not very valuable afterall And of course with all the parts missing... well. I'm not too sure.

re: Which watch do you own?

Looking for a watch (mens)

Requirements:
Budget: Around 15K
Movement - Automatic/Quartz
Dial size - Above 40mm
Preferred Brand - TISSOT/SEIKO/CITIZEN (Others welcome except C Edifice)
Strap - Metal

Liked TISSOT T36.1.316.72 (Avl for 14.5K w 2 years warranty) but it is leather strap.

Any suggestions friends?

EDIT: How about Tissot T17158652 PRC 200 - Lowest price in India pls?

Yes, the picture is only doing 50% justice to the watch. Once you have a touch & feel option will clarify this.

I see some awesome deals on watches in this site www.bodying.in

How reliable are they? Anyone have experience dealing with them?
