SAM, congrats on the PAM.

BTW, I have always wondered, what is it about Panerais that appeals to a certain section. They are too unconventional for my taste and it took quite a while for their design to grow on me.
Would love to know more from you guys.

I didn't see much of an issue with regards to the time, all fine and competes with my quartz watches. What amazed me is that of 40hours reserve reaching with in 15-20minues of wearing this watch. I wore it for only 4-5days and not much different on the time, may be I need to wear it continuesly for a month and compare the time with an electronic watch to be pricise to comment here.

Congrats v&v. Need a better pic with less reflection on the dial. Didn't get enough time or light to scrutinize it last night.

Good topic! Interestingly I never wore any watch since my school days, for more than 25 years! I however do like some models and gift them to near and dear ones. I feel very uncomfortable to wear them on my wrist. Many of the new models I see are pretty big ones and resemble a clock than watch. I even used to wonder if any latest models come with pendulum or outside mounted bells!

Fossil Decker Black Chronograph "Black Magic"

Here are some better pics off the net. Owned some premium watches in the past too but I tend to absolutely love this one because of the color

In 1995 I suffered a minor wrist injury.
Some 18 stitches on my wrist and I stopped wearing watches. The wound healed the scars remained. But I never considered wearing a watch. My dad would gift me one occasionally but I was still not the watch kind of guy.
Then last year I bought a watch because it was cheap. Rs 600 for a UCB in a special offer from SBI. But that was a simple no frills leather strap watch. I wore it for less than a month before I got bored. Stopped wearing it. It fell and the cover broke. Got added to my useless junk drawer at home.

Today I bought my first watch. A watch that not only looks but also feels very good.

A Citizen Eco Drive Skyhawk, Blue Angel JR3080-51L.

Love the fit and finish.

It also happens when you lose the habit. Once I misplaced my watch and I never wore one for days together. I didn't find something was missing since I had a phone to get me the time. Must say, some of the watches displayed here are beautiful.
