Recently bought a v8 Tissot. From what I have read, this seems to be the most common brand here

Casio Edifice.

My friend is looking for a watch and budget is 10K. I asked him to check Edifice series by Casio. Is there any other good options at this price range?

I got Swatch for 8k and Tommy Hilfiger for just above 11k.

If your friend likes non-chronograph watches, then Casio has some good models in this category too. Check them out at ANALOG-MEN'S - STANDARD - Watches - CASIO

@Latheesh: you get many models of Swatch, Tommy and some models of Nautica also for 8-12K range.

Off Topic: Guys do you know where one can get fake/first copy of Rolex/TagH/Tissot etc (In Pune/Mbai)? One of my friends was asking me.

I see so many folks addicted to Edifice. No takers for the Pathfinder/Pro-Trekker? What I have noticed is that even for watches there is a 80% price difference between India and Amazon. I was not expecting that.

A Tri-Sensor Tough Solar Pro-Trekker/Pathfinder costs 9K in Amazon, while the same costs 16K in India!

I have got 11 watches

1. Kenneth Cole -- 2
2. Guess -- 2
3.Fossil - 1
4. Titan -- 1
5. Rado -- 2
6. Seiko -- 1
7. Citizen -- 2

Rado, Seiko and Citizen are very old imported watches.. way back in 1990's my uncle bought it from Saudi. the new ones were bought by me during the visits to U.S. & Dubai

Nice seamaster Jeeper - I was seriously looking at this / second hand rolex before my wife reset my budget to about 1/6th o_0.

Do you have the metal strap too? IMO, I liked the metal strap - I am assuming that adds a hell a lot of weight though!

Heera Panna has some very convincing fakes in told. Tell your friend to check there.
