re: Which watch do you own?

What do you think of this deal? >> eBay India: Fossil Chronograph White Dial CH2517 Men's Watch (item 120708414277 end time 13-Apr-2011 15:42:55 IST)

It says 1 year dealer warranty, no box, no manual.

Is it worth taking a chance?

Thanks guys.
Went to Spencer, both Helvetica and Swatch has been moved to EA mall. Went to EA and got it rectified. Battery drained, replaced.

Cost: Rs. 300

Once again, thanks.

Watch looks pretty nice but, does not look like an original Fossil. I could be wrong.

The dials are very reminiscent to the Fossil I wear. But the price looks too attractive to be true, could be a replica of Fossil?

Just to add - The chronograph series of Fossil, though nicely built, is on the heavier side. So, if you are someone who finds it odd to wear a little heavier watch, then this piece may not suit you.

As a longtime ebay buyer (not of watches), personally I would never buy a watch or pen (branded stuff) from here.

But for 3k a chance is just that. Also you can get a full refund from ebay if you don't like the product and return it.

re: Which watch do you own?

Thanks Mobike008, Spitfire and CliffHanger. I own a Fossil Speedway for past 7 years, so I am pretty used to heavy watches. The lowest price I could find this watch was 4900.

3k seems too good to be true. If it's a replica, then its too high a price, considering that Rolex replicas are selling like hot cakes for 1.5k

re: Which watch do you own?

You can always ask the seller about the genuineness of the product. 3k price range stay close to a replica.

There are good offers for Casio edifice series, last week
I got one for 3.8 k. Here's the one.

I agree with @mobike008 here, it doesn't look like an original fossil.
If you are paying 3K, then IMO better pay 5K and get an original base model of fossil (from s`stop, central etc).

Fossil watches are excellent, they won't give you any trouble expect battery change. I presented a few of them to my near and dear ones quite a few years back and saying this from my personal exp.

OT: I generally switch off the watch if I am not wearing it regularly. Also a distinguishing factor is if the dial is of glass or crystal - original crystal won't get scratched easily, but glass definitely would.

re: Which watch do you own?

@Punter, that's a great watch and IMO, the best looking Casio watch from their range. Is the price 9K?

However, I personally prefer this color tone. Btw, is this and yours not the same one? Looks same except for a subtle difference.
