@GTO, vBulletin template code has option for showing links based on user status (guests, registered, etc). Just use that to hide the register link for registered users.

Done and sorted. Henceforth, you should receive no more than 1 email only.

I have seen in some other Forum`s that there is an option like while you are composing your post if another member posts something in the same thread then when you`ll click the submit button you`ll get a warning like `a member has made a post before you`.
So you can edit what you have written before posting or simply cancel it if you want to.

Me cyrus and Akshay just posted the same comment in a thread so i thought why not give this suggestion to the Admin/Mods.

Please ignore if its not feasible.

I would be interested in "group membership" feature. Would like to create a group for people with similar interests/hobbies/car-ownership, etc and use it for group interactions.

here is an example:

BRISKODA - The Skoda Forums

Androdev, that feature is very much present in vbull but we have not activated it. Primary reason being that it results in a significant amount of information being discussed off the board...pretty much the same reason we have not enabled chat. Briskoda seems to have a hack; have you used their groups? Can you send me a PM outlining the features?

Can you explain the exact problem? Are you seeing an error? Does it get stuck in the uploading phase? Could you try uploading from another computer (but using the kpzen account)?
No settings have been changed in the past couple of days.

team-bhp.com email-id

i know this has been discussed before and it was clarified that only certain category of users are allowed to have a team-bhp.com id, persumably because of the high cost invloved in providing such features. These days Google, MS etc are allowing custom domain email-addresses (for ex abc@team-bhp.com) by hosting the solution within their e-mail infrastructure. This means there is little or no cost invloved in offering this feature to all members. Have you guys ever considered it anytime?

The benefits as i see it are

*happy members - everyone around here are passionate about this site that they would be really be happy to associate their name with the site.
*greater visiblity - more traffic (if this was ever a problem)
*lesser maintence cost - the existing email solution can also be moved to the selected provider

Yes, standard is free - but as netfreak said, they have a limit on the number of users you can add to one account.
It used to be 100 and recently changed to 200 users.

Hi SLK,

Thats strange.

Go to your subscriptions page >
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/subscription.php

Select all the threads using the checkbox on the right.

Use the "Move to folder..." dropdown to select the type/frequency of notifications you want.

Dont forget to click the "GO" button.

(Remember to do this for all the pages if you have more than one page of subscribed thread!)

Let us know if that helps.

Is there someway that someone can subscribe to the thread without actually posting in it ? bookmarking is tedious and there are no updates in it right ? what to do ?
