@aka_iitd - I don't think there's such an option. Though you can download pages into seperate html files using a download manager etc. but too much work

Ok mods I have a suggestion/ request

Is it possible that the team-bhp review section can have the opening post of each thread editable forever by the thread starter.

Why? - because
>> As of now the long term reviews are a pain to read as the reports by the owner are in scatterred posts.
>> Everytime the reviewer posts, there are 100s of replies to that and the original post is lost somewhere.
>> I think it would be a much better report if the same opening post can be edited and updated for subsequent events in a car's life

Maybe you can do it for long term reviews section only. Would definately make it more meaningful! - and maybe it has been discussed before.

@ SLK Download helps as we put extra effort to dig out a much needed thread or sometimes it becomes too difficult to get the answer.
Mods ff download is possible in notepad form is also good.

You could probably start with Thread Tools -> View Printable version and see if that format is of any help to you.

We do see the value in such a function; however, the cons outweigh the pros. For instance, we'd require a custom hack for that. And with some memberships, it is best not to allow editable posts.

For the time being, if you do see any information that needs to be edited, simply "report the post to a moderator" and we shall have it taken care of.

Whew! That's a long one. You know what, we'll probably get one of the big guys to underwrite our certificate....a Verisign or similar. That will take care of all the alerts & warnings. Will be implemented soon.

Here is a screenshot.
We allow photo uploads of upto 1 MB per file. I suggest you resize some of the larger ones that may potentially be over this limit. Or probably wait a little longer for them to successfully upload. The reason for this is I don't see any error message in your screenshot.

Have you tried switching images off in your Opera mobile browser? Surely that will help?

Does Tbhp have any control on the ads that appear on the site? Ads are good, but totally bogus ones.... readers dont digest. See highlighted portion of image below.

Are you sure it was just ONE post that was moved and not a couple of your posts from that thread?

Thanks for that detailed explanation.

We will do something like this as a backup if we do not get the certificate authenticated. Thanks.

And doesnt opera mobile/mini(?) re-compress images anyway?

In addition to that, use the "print view". It wont download avatars etc.

I am able to add just 5 recipients to a PM. I thought it was increased to like 20 / 25 or so. Is it taken off?

You can edit the post and leave a note to MOD to delete the post and then report it to the MOD requesting to delete the post.

You yourself cannot delete the post.

I think it is an overhead for MOD. Is there any icon to click to inform MOD or MOD needs to go through all post to see if there some attention required.

You can get cheap certificates from NameCheap.com (about $12 - $20, I think).

The reason for redirecting search engines from https links to non-https is for SEO, and to avoid duplicate links to content.
I dont know, but maybe Google is intelligent enough to recognise that a https link does not actually duplicate content. cheers:

Can we have the Honda City code names revised.

Earlier:
OHC : Original Honda City, the Honda City with which Honda started their stint in India.

NHC : New Honda City, the Honda City that came after OHC was discontinued.

ANHC : All New Honda City, the present generation Honda City.

But can we have names like,

G1HC : Generation 1 Honda City = OHC.
G2HC : Generation 2 Honda City = NHC.
G3HC : Generation 3 Honda City = ANHC.

This is because it clarifies as to which generation we are talking about. NHC and ANHC etc are not very easy to distinguish after lets say an year from now, when ANHC will complete its first birthday in this country and it wont be All New. This will be more consfusing at that time.

If at all the above suggestion is approved by the moderator team, its a humble request that the list in FAQ section be updated. Those who have just joined in will read the updated section and soon OHC, NHC wont be widely used.

The abbrevation G1HC etc are being used by me and other members, where as most users are using OHC, etc. But what made me write here is this:
See highlighted portion. Instead if its G3HC or G2HC it will be very easy for one to understand. Here NHC = ANHC, and this will be more confusing after an year or so.
