Suggestions for Team-BHP from Team-BHPians

There is two ways I can get an image without a watermark :
1. Right click & save - I get the full image.
2. Save the screen shot. Image resolution will be low, but I still get the image.

With these two options available, Why would anyone want to take the third, water-marked image ?

Is it possible to get Team-Bhp Mobile?

Most of the other vBulletin automotive forums that i use have gone mobile in the recent past. I was wondering if and when you plan to make this transition.

Considering how much information is on this website, I have seen myself using it a lot even when I am not in front of the computer, and browsing it just like how it appears on the computer is somewhat painful and frustrating

What you see on the thread page is actually a thumbnail; thumbnails aren't supposed to be an 800 size, but we have chosen it to make reports look that much better. The developer expected a 200 resolution size for the thumbnails and thus didn't include a watermark for them at all.

I must add that pictures smaller than an 800 resolution will show up in their actual size on the thread and with a watermark.

OT: regarding Exif of attached pictures.

Watermarked the uploaded images loose their EXIF(meta)data. One can read their EXIF until then though. Could the images keep the EXIF data and get watermarked?

The good news is : Uploaded images aren't actually watermarked. The Team-BHP logo merely shows as an overlay (we can change the position anytime), but the images stored on the server stay as is & with their EXIF data. Displaying the EXIF & adding a watermark to the thumbnails as well is planned over the next upgrade.
