Yeah, it worked. But I found rather avert using that option. Especially if I'm sitting on network.

I think the cookie is not maintained properly.. (if remember me option is not checked)

I dont know if this has been suggested before and the feasibility, but a "thank you" button will be good. Its better than getting my post deleted because I only posted a thanks or word of encouragement to the thread starter :-(

@All those who are getting logged out from Classifieds - As mentioned by bblost could you guys confirm whether you have selected 'Remember Me' option or not.

Classifieds logging out problem should be solved now (atleast to an extent). Ensure that the "remember me" checkbox is ticked.

How about setting up an IRC server for chatting and putting a web-gateway on the site? The chatting will be for recreational purposes and you can put a rule saying that car-queries will go on the site. Elect a couple of no-nonsense people as ops and the rule will be followed.

I'd seriously love to talk to T-BHP members in a chatroom-style window rather than a 1-on-1 type convo in any messenger.

I can setup a test server if enough demand is there.

Pranavt,

You have a good intent and will to walk the mile. But then, we already have this. Well, not a exact meet to your requirement, but we still have T-BHP'ians chatting away to glory using IM tools available.

But then, for this, you will have to get active here in such a way that other BHP'ians will share their IM ID with you.

Definitely not something that will happen overnight and definitely something that needs to be earned, both ways.

True. But I'm sure most members would give up their IDs if asked nicely.

The chatting is purely for fun with more than 1 person at a time. That's why we have T-BHP meets, rather than 1-on-1 meets. Logging on to the server on a boring night at 3am, and finding 10 people active and talking about something is what I mean. I'm not a very talkative person unless I'm talked to, so I won't be busy talking to people over IM unless it's absolutely necessary. I'm sure that trait is shared by many other members here who'd love to be a part of the action too, but are too shy to contact others.
