Is there any way a thread can be saved so that it can be viewed offline as well.
If not then can this be implemented somehow?

You mean something like downloading the thread in a Text or Word file format? Thats a good idea. We would be able to download a lengthy thread to our cell phones and read it while traveling or when free!

Very good idea. I dont know if this can be done or not but should be worth a try!
Will be easier for people like me who do not get time to access on weekends.

When someone sends a PM, we get a email notification with the contents of the PM mentioned as well. So if you're on the move, we get an instant update on the mobile mail. However, when someone writes a comment on the garage, the email just mentions a link. Why can't the comment be added in as well in the email?

Eddy i noticed that as well. It seems that for that particular thread, the page numbers have been set to display in descending order, if such an option exists.

Facing the same issue. First I thought it was something wrong with FF, but then why only 1 thread. Anyway, guess this thread has just gone the Arabic way!

He has joined in May 2004. So, I reckon most of his posts got 'lost' when there was a crash or some time back. Hence he being a 'Senior' with just the currently available 300+ posts.

He is a former moderator and former DBHPian, hence the S-BHPian tag. Both these levels are not permanent. He may have lost post count when we stopped counting posts in certain sections.

TBHP Mobile Application for Windows and S60 Versions

I suggest 'TBHP Mobile Application for Windows and S60 Versions'

Just like the gmail application.

With so many hi-end mobile users now, this will be a boon.

Post counts are updated by the tech team once a month. There is a chance that the system had credited you with posts for forum sections where it was not supposed to, only to get corrected when the updation cycle was run. Do check our FAQ to know more about the sections that do not count.

Interesting suggestion. I always take printouts along with me (thread tools -> printable version), though I am sure some browser softwares may give you the option of saving the page - entirely - offline.

Another thing I do is to use the hibernate feature of my laptop, keep the explorer open with whatever threads I want to read offline and power up whenever I want. Again, I'm sure firefox & others give the option of saving pages offline.

Nope, I can confirm that the notification system is very much active. Probably the entire thread was deleted, merged with another or it was a rare system bug.

Because we want you to visit your garage

We've got a whole lot of mobile stuff lined up over the next upgrade exercise. Wait and watch!
