I use Iceweasel (Debian Linux OS); which is same as firefox. I have no problems changing the themes. Only problem - excepe the BHP themes, the other two ("Standard") themes do not show the car a the top.

Can the process of uploading pictures made simplified. Instead of selecting each picture in a different brows box can it be done that we select all and then upload all.

Thanks condor, we did get your report and this post has made it a little clearer.

BSD,

If we have an automated way/script to transform email addresses, all it takes is for one spammer to spend 2minutes writing a script to undo the transformation - and then harvest all the email addresses on Team-BHP !

The way i see it, you have 3 options :
1. Make your email visible in your user profile. (Guests and Newbies(<25 posts) CANNOT see your profile - so it is fairly safe there)
2. Request that people PM you. You can even turn on email notifications when you get PMd.
3. Use your own creativity. (eg. <myhandlename>@ ya who? . com)

@Rehaan - my suggestion is not about my / our email ids. It is about email ids of others - like a manufacturer's customer support. I do take your point about bots being able to undo the changes.

Some suggestions for the next large update of t-bhp:

(All these suggestions are based on ideas from a swedish car site that I am a member of, Bilar och styling: GARAGET - Sveriges största bilcommunity)

In this site, each member gets their own page with a simple domain (ex: www.team-bhp.com/anekho) (This would be cool to have as a sticker too! The site has these stickers available and members put it on their rides!).

A sample of the sticker (not my real member name on that site!):
Suggestions for Team-BHP from Team-BHPians-sample.jpg

On this page the person has an intro and are free to write about themselves. From here you can access the persons cars (their garage!) This profile page also has it's own blog roll for that member to write their own thoughts.

The garage, has a more interactive way of showing off our cars without making new threads.
Example: Nissan GT-R R35 Black Edition (2009) - GARAGET - www.garaget.org

In the garage, you can check out the photos and videos of the car, and comments can be added on each photo. This way it's easier to comment about something specific or respond to a photo.

The site also has a rating system, where members can rate each others cars and the top say 20 can be featured on the home page.

Do check it out, I think it would be cool if t-bhp had a similar concept.

also the forum has very lively forum, so these changes wouldn't kill the interaction we have on our forums here!

cheers

Can the team-bhp watermark be made transparent?

many times there is a text at bottom which is masked by the watermark. e.g. the hyderabad police campaign thread.

Warning/Infraction/Points System

Please move this thread to wherever appropriate.

I read the warning/infraction thread located in the announcements forum and also searched for a better explanation. Would one of the mods. please elaborate and give an example. The announcement was not clear enough. I do not understand what the numbers mean. For example, what does 0/1 (4) mean under a members post count?

Searching within the titles.
The results for xyz will not include those titles with xyzABC

For Example
when searching for wagonr
Mumbai to Hubli in WagonR - VXi
Suggestions for Team-BHP from Team-BHPians-on1.jpg

but the results of wagon will not contain the above threads.

@moderators
I'm facing this issue from past many days,
Whenever i click in classifieds section & view any particular ad, my browser gets logged out. Why am I facing this issue ?

Note: I have mailed the admin, but it didn't help, so posting it here.

This issue has been discussed in this thread before.

Simple fix for it is to choose the "remember me" option when logging in.

WOW, Thanks bblost.
It works fine now.
But one more thing, has the posting(comment) for an ad removed ?
Coz I'm not able to see any comments or posts for any ad.
thanks

This is about the new Google search option introduced in Team-Bhp.

I use the standard blue skin and I do not see this search option. Please clarify.
