Can we have a section in car reviews where people will speak about the problems with their cars or lemons delivered out to them? I know it's included in their reviews but if they are segregated, it would be a much better eye opener. It's difficult to find such cases in the vast forum and would be easier if all the topics are in the same place. It will make people think twice before going for that brand.

Ofcourse, you guys could make rules like the topic is examined by the mods before being publicly visible and the TC should give relevant proofs (like photographs of heavy bills incurred, fake parts, etc.) of the same.

I recently filled in the ownership survey form, but it disappeared after I submitted it. Where can I see my review and more such reviews of others. I had set mine to 'public', so I assume I can view it somewhere. All I can see is the summary compiled by the support team. Also is it possible to make minor edits in the survey now?

Gilead, i dont think you can view your ownership review form once submitted. Based on the collection of reviews received, they are complied and then added to the general reviews section.

Okay, then what does the option to set it to private or public mean?

In addition to what GTO has mentioned, a quick way to do this is to click on your name besides any post made by you > and from the dropdown choose > show more posts by aarge.

Its hard to set a definite rule, as this might change from case to case, depending on the severity and degree of the lemon-ness. If you think a thread is misplaced, please do use the Report Post button and the mods will look into it.

Indeed, we had discussed something like this earlier as well. Thanks for the link - i guess it could be considered at our next upgrade. @GTO.

I usually start with my subscribed-posts list, or maybe the new-posts list, clicking the first-unread icon of the threads I want to read, and opening them in tabs. Having gone through those, I might click either subsrcibed or new again --- and very often I find that first-unread is taking me to the same places it did last time.
Will bring this up in the Support Forum.

A minor edit probably won't have any bearing on the Portal review, since it has been compiled using the submitted data of dozens of owners all averaged together.
If however you have a major issue to report, or your opinion on certain things has changed around drastically - you could consider resubmitting the form.

At the moment this does not affect anything - however, it keeps your desired permissions noted for the future.

Thanks,

Really? Amazing. Maybe I was complaining about something that had already been fixed.

... Or maybe it works better under Linux .

Hey... Got any Go-Faster Stripes I can borrow?

Any plans to revamp the home page design? Not too much wrong with it but I want to see something new . After all, standing still is the same as going backwards, right?

Hi Mods,

I came thro this profile in facebook mentioned in the link below
Team-BHP.com | Facebook
Let me know if this is also moderated by TBHP or is it some guy who is just using the website's name and playing around.
If this is the case, shouldnt we take some action against them

P.S Not sure where I could post this question thats why posted it here.

Hi Moderators ,

How about Team-BHP goodies like T-Shirts with Team-BHP trademark liners(as on our stickers) written on it. In order to preserve its ingenuity it should only be sold to Team-BHP members.

I would love to wear a black Tee with "Got BHP ?" witten in Yellow at its back.

Yep. Would you like the 5hp design or the 15hp design?

Definitely something we would like to see happen soon, along with other merchandise. Unfortunately i can't give you a concrete deadline on this one.

@tacho - We are always moving forward!

Oh thats a good initiative, will become a fan of that right away, just now something else struck my mind.

I guess we should have a separate section for the TBHP mods' review like GTO's review of all recent car post Ritz and Eddy's review of WagonR.

This would differentiate all the user review from TBHP's review.
What do you think would it be a value add??

Hi xing,

Yep - thats been suggested before a couple of times.

We'll consider it when we have a good enough volume of those reviews.

Cheers,
R

Like in Polls - we do have an option to see who has voted .
Can we have this feature in Thread ratings to know who rated a thread and what they scored it?

A hack for the same: Who Has Rated A Thread - vBulletin.org Forum
