Actually smilies are visible but what you will see is the alphabetical code and not the actual smilie graphic. For e.g. :-(.

If you just press the edit button to edit within the post you can't see the smilies. whereas if you edit and go advanced then you can see the smilies.

Is that the same with you e_L?

When i have read all the posts of say a 5 page thread and then i click on from the main page to the thread i am taken to page 2 sometimes or sometimes even 5 when i should be taken to the last post page, why so.

Its very time consuming and bites consuming to. Even when i click on Mark Forums Read, simiar things happen. I had read all the posts on this thread till EL's post and there was a new post by vid so i clicked on the thread and i was taken to page 2, cant i be taken to page 1?

Happens with me too. I belive this has more to do with cache. clear your cache & this wont happen. what happens is you click on latest post & at times you browser remembers latest post as the page you last visited & hence so.

i strongly feel that the navigating the team bhp website is very confusing,
its strongly recomended to have an eazier navigation experience.

the search could be a bit more precise.

Busa, what you can do is once you are done with reading a particular thread and you come back again. Next to the thread title where it shows the number of replies and views, to its left is the last post by. Notice the two arrows there. Clicking on the arrows will take you to the latest post. This could be helpful in viewing the page with the latest posts than traversing back a number of pages.

I've got a suggestion. How about replying back when someone fills in the contact form? That ought to be pretty good.
