Dude there's never been an automobile project like this in India. And no matter where you ask, you won't find out where this engine is. And no tuner you know is working on it.

Anyways 'nuff said. Sorry Kiran. You can report my post if you think I've said too much already.

I have seen about 3 GTX engines for sale in Chor Bazaar. Let me know if you need help locating them.

Esteem engines go for 30k without any negotiations. These should cost the same, if not less. These don't clear the shelves as easily as Esteem engines do.

I will check next time I go to CB. Or if you are coming down anytime next week, we can go together.

Here's a pic of my UNO (GA-02-C-7703) which I sold in 2005. It had done 1Lakh Km then. Currently it's crossed the 2 Lakh mark. I just saw it in Panjim today and parked my Siena 1.6 (GA-01-J-0947 with Utsav Plates) next to it. The bumpers half painting was done by me. I saw it in the owners manual. I also had put Abarth stickers on the front fenders and on the rear. I wish I had never sold it (for Rs.70,000/-). I would have loved to plonk in a 1.6 100BHP engine like the one in my Siena.

Below are pictures of another Fiat. A lovely LHD 1100 also from Panjim. Sorry for being a little OT here.

Nice!
The 1100 looks like a love child of the Lada and a fiat.

Naturally. Ladas were nothing but rebadged Fiats after all.
