I still recall the day when MJ was coming to Mumbai & how desperately I wanted to be in Mumbai for that show, but I couldnt make it.

I, along with many others have GROWN UP listening to his songs , his songs were always something which I looked forward to along with the special effects in the music videos.

I have gone again & again, looked up the news on net, hoping that HIS passing away is a joke or someone is playing a prank with me. Its not yet and still not SET in me the sad passing away of him.

I along with many other fans of his , was confident of him making a very big successful comeback.
it's just one of those days when I feel helpless. it could be because you expect your childhood star, to remain always invincible.

whatever , whenever you are ............
I LOVE MICHAEL & the place of KING OF POP will always be empty & reserved for you.
(sorry will end up here its getting too much emotional, can't write more)

Fav Song : - Will you be there – Free Willy

What I have learned from above is that -
you never know , what happens next , so be good to every one , be it your family , parents , neighbours

Music died on 26/06/09.

The news shocked me and left me numb. MJ was way ahead of time, proof of which is that even 25 years later, songs like Thriller, Beat it, Billie jean, Bad etc etc still make you tap your feet and move to his music.

What I liked about his songs was that they had meaning, the words made sense and it was amazing that he could make a song using such simple words and lines. MJ was a genius. He made MTV into what it is today, he was the pioneer of the story method music video's. Even today we remember all of his video's right down to the clothes he was wearing! That's the impact his music and video's had! His songs, music, video's and dances will be timeless. Like our bollywood dance director Ahmed said - there are dance forms like Jazz, disco, hip hop etc and then there is a dance form called Michael Jackson dance.

The lyrics and video of Earth Song still give me goose bumps. What he said in that song is so true.

I will always miss you MJ!

Thank you for entairtaining us.

RIP Michael Jackson.

Couldn't agree more.
Another one was "We are the World".
Some students in my school sang it on stage and our Principal had tears in his eyes.

Thats the exact samething that happened in our school (DBHS, Panaji) too. I was part of the group which sang the song on stage. The parents assembled for the school day joined in the chorus. That one moment watching our principal and some other teachers shed tears are still etched in memory.

Its the same here too. Very popular song in school days. I find this song all the more special because it has all the great singers and performers from the older days. And I just love the video. So touching. All his songs had wonderful meaning.

They dont make em like they used to anymore :(

I'm still a bit shocked. There's a bit of denial in there somewhere too. I can't believe it. I actually had Aug 28th tickets to his concert in London. Now all the legends are gone.

A friend sent me this, it's a nice compilation.

Breaking News !!!

Most of the TV channels are airing the news of MJ being alive.

What's going on? They are saying that the DNA found in dead body doesn't match to that of MJ.

Anybody have any more info on this.

the king lives on forever in our hearts.
I have a special place for him my heart along with The Beatles and Who can forget the talented mr Morrison.
He is in a better place now.
I still feel that nobody really understood MJ except for himself. The constant media attention and all made his life hell.
R.I.P MJ

I posted on the first page of this thread and haven't stopped listening to MJ or watching his videos and short films. I just don't want to let go - still feel really sad. A very talented personality, deprived of the childhood joys and so very misunderstood!
R.I.P. Michael - away from misunderstandings and at peace, in a much happier place where you can live your childhood dreams!
Found this on youtube

teeny child superstar
on the road by 8
on your way to going far
the world can hardly wait
everyone around you
is impressed by all your charm
all these dreams are coming true
but will they cause you harm?

look at you now, a multi millionaire
mega superstar...major debonair
you'll heal the world, but what about you?
into this life you were hurled, but if you only knew

you'd be misunderstood
so misunderstood
taken for granted
only doing what you should
so darn misunderstood
very misunderstood
is this how you planned it?
hold on to your childhood.

daddy has a temper
but he only knows what's best
he wants you to remember
that you're talented and blessed
and to sleep with the window shut
always do what's right
listen or he'll spank your but
do you know, you've got a show tonight

look at you now..a dancing pioneer
singing sensation, getting better every year
platinum selling super popstar king
humanitarian buying the finer things

but you're misunderstood
still misunderstood
taken for granted
only doing what you should
just misunderstood
so misunderstood
is this how you planned it?
Hold onto your childhood

you are misunderstood
so misunderstood
from what all the world can see
you're doing pretty good
still you're misunderstood
how misunderstood!
Medication sure can ease
what true love only could

who's the man inside the mirror?
Just a lonely little boy

who'd be misunderstood
so misunderstood
taken for granted
only doing what you should
so darn misunderstood
very misunderstood
is this how you planned it?
hold on to your childhood.

May be he's still alive

Hi All,
I know MJ is dead, atleast thats what is on the newspapers all over the world, but may be he is not. He had body doubles since a long time and that's been in the news too some years back.

So may be this was his body double too.

And check out this link:
MICHAEL JACKSON IS ALIVE! Pop King faked his death, say sources, adding, ‘Comeback tour will be biggest in music history’ Derek Clontz

And yes, did you notice his family does not seem to be too sad about it, they are busy working out the finances, so may be MJ is alive somewhere.

I know heart and mind are two different things, but my heart still wants to believe he is alive.

Besides, I don't believe media - haven't you seen the movie World Trade Center - its sick to know how many facts about WTC never surfaced and Media created a nice picture to create a similar public opinion in this world. And we believed it all.

Don't believe media so much...Trust me, its no big deal if he is still alive.

I want to believe he is alive.

"Dikhavaye par mat jayo, apni akal lagayo" - that's a nice Sprite Ad.

His songs had such clean and clear music and lyrics. We may have missed maybe few more of such songs but we still have a lot of them and he will live on in our lives.
