Was reading this and heard the news of another air crash:
Quote:
SAN'A, Yemen (June 30) –- A passenger jet from Yemen with 153 people on board crashed in the Indian Ocean early Tuesday as it tried to land during heavy wind on the island nation of Comoros, and search teams rescued a child from the sea, officials said.
There were 142 passengers and a crew of 11 Yemenis on board when the Airbus A310, which had set off from the Yemeni capital of San'a, went down shortly before landing in Moroni, on the main island of Grand Comore, Yemeni civil aviation deputy chief Mohammed Abdul Qader said.

And so does Air India Express. They have a good paint scheme as well. They have the pictures of various monuments painted.

Am amazing hobby dude. Somehow I was always inclined towards aircrafts but not as much as car. But who knows.

Btw, in the first post, how did you manage to take the second picture??

All the pics are mind blowing. Loved the ones where the runway is near the waterbody.

Super thread Stratos. I have always been awed by the flying machines and since I reside near airport area in Chennai, I have been watching them closely for decades now. I never get tired of watching the planes land.

I would like to share few shots of airplanes. Retain it if you think it fits the thread.

Nice pics Stratos. I love planes and note down all the tail numbers and look it up as soon as I get internet access. I'm haven't plunged full fledged into this hobby like you have but have the intention of doing so one day.

That would be Airbus A-380 in the passenger flight category. A flying fortress! Airbus A380 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The An-225 is the THE largest plane in the world. It has 6 engines! Antonov An-225 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I have the same hobby as Stratos. Spent most of my weekends around Bangalore Airport shooting aircraft. Nice to meet somebody with the same hobby on this forum.

@lambuhere1, are you also there on airliners-india.net with the same username?
