...That's something I really must do one of these days!

Thank you all for the wonderful wishes. Whatever they say about the internet (true, too, I'm sure ), there are some really great places on it where good people hang out. Team-BHP is one of the best

Thanks!

Errr... You didn't think I was really called Thad E Ginatom?

Although it's a neat sort of name, and I wouldn't mind. It would have made my mridangam teacher laugh.

My policy is not to reveal my true identity, but I only decided on that policy after having already done so in several other places on the net. One or two people who also frequented those places put three and four together and came up with seven, thus leading to the danger of my cover being blown.

So, guys... just... don't tell everybody else, ok?

Yes, it has been a nice day; devoid of any particular celebration, but with music and the best wishes of friends and family, on and off line.

A human metronomic sound going thadi ginatham, thadi ginatham thadiginatham!

And no Eddy I am not joking. Though that was Nick's attempt at humour since he plays the Mridangam.

Do forgive him, he is English after all.

thadhi ginatom would take six beats, tha Dhi Ghinatom takes seven. They are two of the five varieties of the basic 5-count phrase ThaDhiGhiNaThom.

It's bed time

And know what? It clicked!!! I was left wondering "what sort of exotic guy / name is this" after reading his intro thread, till somebody repeated his nick three times as a reply. And should confess that it had not clicked to me, another avid fan of classical music, and an (ex)mridangam player to boot!!!

Thad, Happy birthday!!!!
