You favorite car/bike stunt in movies

When it comes to ultimate thrill, movie makers ensure that there is at least one car / bike chase or some eye boggling stunt. And I am sure we all team-bhpians leave no movie behind which has cars and bikes in it. Some of us not only have collection DVDs of our favorite movies but we also end up watching our favorite car/bike stunt again and again, perhaps 1000 times

So here you go, keep throwing on this thread “You favorite car/bike stunt in movies”

Some of my most favorites :
  • Movie : Mission Impossible II : Tom Cruise in his best look with long hair, spins, burns, and rips his bike. He spins over with his bike while doing stoppie, pulls his gun and shoots at the car. Wow, even today I am equally thrilled whiled watching this scene. This was so famous in Nagpur that we saw many guys putting after market double barrel headlights on their creaky bikes he he he
  • Movie : Fast and Furious I : every stunt in this movie was our favorite one, however I liked the last sprint very much
  • Movie : Quantum of Solace : Really liked the way Daniel Craig takes the Aston for spin when the movie starts
  • Movie : Hindi movie DON (Shahrukh Khan) : Little weird my choice is, though I really like the way Shahrukh takes almost everything off the Hyundai Sonata. What a chase!!!

1) Fast and the Furious 2:
The good guys have to win this drag or end up losing their rides.
They have to drag straight take a 'U' and come back victorious.
Had me at the edge of my seat.
'How does that dust taste white boy'

2) Transporter 1:
Initial police chase after the robbers loot the bank and get in the BMW.
Transporter: There are 3 of you
Robber: You can count, I'm impressed.
And then the fun begins.
Best part is, due to so much drifting and stomach curling turns,
the Transporter has to waste 3 seconds to roll down the back window
to let one of the looters to throw up.
I guess he wouldn't allow that to be done inside the car.
Famous dialog : 'I always say, how a man keeps his car is keeps himself'.

Bullitt carchase thru the streets of San Francisco is on the top by miles in my list. I have walked through those streets when I lived there, so related to it personally, hence a favorite too.

Ronin carchase thru the city is another personal favorite. Well, another bias here since this chase featured an Audi, a car that I owned while in US.

In bike stunts, it's Matrix Reloaded that tops my list. Dhoom has copied the truck roof-top fighting from this movie.

Seconding the Ronin carchase. Another would be from Transporter 1 at the beginning and finally, the bike and car chase on the freeway in Matrix Reloaded.

if its a single stunt we are talking about, it has to be James bond's 360 corkscrew across a river in "man with the golden gun". All real, No cg and to my knowledge never repeated after the originator of the stunt dies taking the secret to the grave with him ( on purpose)
