I like that national integration song 'Mile sur hamara tumhara'.

Some of the ads itched in mind - Nirma, Palmolive shaving cream (Kapil saying palmolive da jawab nahin), Bajaj (buland bharat ka), Vimal suitings (Gavaskar), Lifebouy (lifebouy hai jahan tandurusti hai wahan), Colgate tooth powder (ramu tera daanth to moti jaisa chamak raha hai)... etc.

In TV serials, "Yeh Jo Hai Jindagi" still takes the cake after 25 odd years of TV industry. It's hard to imagine anyone, who watched TV those days and does not love "Yeh jo.." and "Nukkad".

Don't think so.
But one thing for sure. that model danced very naturally & thats what was so lovely about that ad.

The Liril ad was a rage. Loved the Complan ad too though the tune & the lyrics(almost) are a lift off from Jim Reeves' - But You Love Me Daddy.

That 100% icecream was none other than Milkfood 100% icecream and it ends with that times fav disco tune tu tu tu.
Any one remembers Yamaha RX100 ad where one guy races with one girl in sports coupe?And background music was take from Top Gun.
Hero Hondas first ad and very few knows that Salman Khan was featured on that-

I remember the first Liril ad (with Persis Khambatta, was it?), the Bajaj lamps ad (Jab main chota ladka tha, badi shararat karta tha...).

I feel the advertising agencies had some real geniuses with them at that time. Can anyone forget 'Lalitalji'?

Another catchy title was Spider-man. And I still remember it used to end with a line "BROUGHT TO YOU BY RASNA" !!

Has anyone seen this series called 'Qile Ka Rahasya' ? A spooky serial about people being killed soon after they get a mark of two hand prints on their back. Cant find the jingle though.
