Are you ready for Rocky VI!!!

Yup, there are rumours doing the rounds about Stallone working on his latest project "Rocky VI".

Unlike most other hollywood movies, i must say that every Rocky movie ever made has been as entertaining and fresh as the 1st one.

Be it the storyline or the choice of opponents, this movie hasn't failed to impress.

And with names like "Vin Diesel" cropping up, as Rocky's new opponent, i don't see any reason why i should be missing out on it. Vin Diesel in talks

It's been 15 years since the last Rocky movie was made. Question is, can Stallone relive the spirit? i guess only time will tell.

BTW, it so happens that the kid in Rocky V is actually Stallone's own son. His name is Sage Stallone.

Yep! Also the dog, Bupkiss (?!) is Sly's own dog. Talia Shire, of course, is Francis Ford Coppola's niece. Carl Weathers was a Cleveland Raiders quarterback.

Did you notice, in the movies, Rocky owns a Countach, a Pontiac Trans-Am (?), and a Harley.

Maybe he acts as a coach type, like in V. Most plausible. Arnie does T3, and plans T4, so why can't Sly do Rocky VI?

God knows what the story will be like. But it'll be good.

One thing i like about Rocky as a character is that he's so calm outside the ring. LOL

And don't think Sly can't get back to shape. For the movie "Copland - 1997" the dude put on something like 30+ pounds (to fit the role) and if u think he didn't look fit in "Driven - 2001", he looked as fit as ever in "D-Tox - 2002".

Stallone in Cop Land

This guy has the ability to look fit even at this age. Just look at him will ya....

One thing though, he needs to grow his hair a bit or spike it up like how Arnold did it in the Terminator 3.

No one's questioning his ability to look good on screen. But the role? Sage Stallone is also propped to be in it. Could be another V, with him coaching his son against Vin Diesel. Except they don't come to blows on the streets in the end!

Nope, Stallone is getting back into the ring. Part V had a small fight on the streets so this is gonna be a bit diff.

I mean unless he fights, you can't call it "Rocky VI". Nobody's gonna pay to watch Sage fight Vin Diesel.

Or maybe they'll have more than 1 fight (like in III and IV).

Got the coaching impression from the link you put up. Yeah, more than a single fight could be an option. But if you notice, in III and IV, the 1st fights are small, nothing more than a story build-up, rather than a blood-and-guts finale event.

Let's see...close to 10 years of waiting for T3 and it came, so let's hope this comes too!
